COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

(bottle, 30cl) Slightly hazy, golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Citrus-fruity aroma with notes of glue and mildly malty background. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Malty and wheaty taste with notes of citrus and bubblegum; sweet malty and discreetly bitter hoppy finish with hints of citrus and alcohol. Not really convincing. 16.X.12

Tap at some random bar. Clear golden with white head that doesn’t last too long. Cloves, sweet malts, light rubber, quite herbal, green walnuts, twigs. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with a buck oily feel. Weird stuff.

30cl bottle. Clear pale amber pour with a thin white head. Smells of pilsner malts, honey and spices. The taste is sweet and kind of bland, with nothing in particular going on. Still quite drinkable.

A peculiar sweet/bitter taste, that ’dies off’ rather quickly. It does not have anything noteworthy to it.

Bottle 33cl. Dark yellow with a brownish glow and a white head. Aroma is bitter, hops and a faint malt hint. The taste is not very complex: plain bitterness which gets stronger in the aftertaste. Some glow of alcohol too.

bottle, from the fridge at klub malych pivovaru in pilsen. clear honeyed golden with a brief flicker of head; sticky aroma, golden syrup; faint earthy spice overwhelemed by syruppy sweetness with a fair bit of alcohol showing, hard to force down by the end of the glass

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2015 Bottle at home. Aroma of ripe fruits, citrus, yeast, slight sugary notes, malt. Flavour is medium sweet with a light bittersweet finish. This is an acceptable if run-of-the-mill Tripel.

.33l bottle at Beerville Bar, Belgrade. Pale battery clear gold. Off-white head. Pale lager aroma, soft, anonymous sweet body. No hard carbonation or real yeast character. Worthless.

Bottle from de Mitra in Gorinchem. The beer is golden blonde colored and pours a stable white head, with average carbonation. The beer has a nice hop aroma, but it’s also fruity with notes of citrus and pears and some spices in the background. The taste is full bodied, flowery and with fruity notes of oranges, bananas and nuts. The finish is refreshingly dry and light bitter. A very reasonable tripel, shame it’s so underrated.
