300 ml bottle, poured into a snifter. ABV 7%
Very dark ruby and mahogany colours on the body. On top. a thick tan head, two fingers tall, leaving beautiful lacing as it lazy disappears. Very nice.
Light aromas of roasted malts and coffee, along with even lighter caramel notes.
Taste is sweet, lots of flavours on the aftertaste mainly, where it actually turns to a light bitterness. Roasted malts, coffee, chocolate.
Very nice full body, with right amounts of carbonation. Creamy palate.
Overall, I can say I discovered this a bit late on the season, but it was one of the best I tried this year.

Today I tried the Lindeboom HerfstBock. I must say the lable is really ugly!
Now about the beer: It smells a little bit to raisin, a little sweet.
The beer has a nice ruby/red colour and a small head. In the taste is a good balance between sweet and bitter, but it isn’t special. Besides that it isn’t that heavy.
A small note: My bottle said 7 % and not 6,5%
