Smells like fermented apples and some sweetness. Taste follows with a good sweet/sour balance. Just a bit of funky yeast presence. Not bad overall but I wouldn’t seek it out again.

Hazy golden with a white head. Sweet tart apple aroma- clean, crisp, floral, sour. Taste has apple, lots of sugar and slight tartness at the end. Light body and carbonation.

Det här var rätt juste, smaken var fint balanserad med toner av granny smith äpple, mandelmassa och lätt syra. Kroppen var lagom stabil och balansen satt på sin plats.

@ Röhällavägen 141029. Bottle (250 ml) from Systembolaget (17:-), Fruity and very sweet with some light citric notes and apples/apple juice, medium body with an oily texture. The finish is dry, sweet and fruity. I like the apples and it’s quite fresh but the sweetness is too much.

Well, i could have cut and paste the brewers description on this one. the flavor is great. sweetish green apple, good mouthfeel, followed by a cool mix of the tartness from the apples and from the yeast...it is a lambic after all. the nose was not as impressive although not unpleasant. just a little more funk...smelled a touch of old beer smell with all the other goodness. cloudy, carbonated apple juice color, decent head when poured fairly liberally. overall, a nice change from cider and one i’ll have again. 2/16/09 for me, the lambic tartness seems to go beter with apple than currant, even though the overall average for this beer is the lowest of the three, it’s my favorite. not too sweet."

Bottle from systembolaget. Interesting taste. Sweet and fresh with some notes of candy and cinnamon and of course apples. Pours lime yellow with a small white head, which quickly dissolves. For such a low ABV it really has a lot of flavors. More sour than sweet in the taste and not as much apples as expected. Actually a really nice beer. Refreshing and easy on the tongue although not to sweet and sticky.

Transfer from BA revview on 2-3-14- Poured from bottle into a chalice glass Appearance – The beer pours a hazy medium amber color with a one finger of fizzy white head. The head fades over a moderate amount of time, leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma of the beer is huge of a sour and tart green apple aroma mixed with some lighter bits of yeast. Some sweeter apple cider smells are there as well accompanied by a light grassy aroma. Overall the aroma is of a nice tart green apple cider smell. Taste – The taste begins with a sweet apple cider flavor with a bit of sourness mixed within. The sourness is of a light lemon nature upfront with the flavor growing more tart in nature as the flavor advances due to some more intense green apple flavors coming to the tongue. A yeasty flavor develops initially after the taste begins, with it losing strength at the end of the taste. While the yeast fades and the tartness increases, a light hay flavor and a bit of a funk and vinegar all come to the tongue, mixing with the rest of the flavors to leave a nice sweet but still quite tart apple cider flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is quite light with a carbonation that is composed of tiny champagne like carbonation bubbles. Both the lighter body and higher level of tiny carbonation bubbles are fantastic for the sweet and tart apple flavors of the brew making this a very refreshing beer even in light of its tart and sour nature. Overall – A sweeter and tasty apple Lambic that is a rather easy and pleasant drinker.

Pours slight hazy yellow with a small quickly dissipating head, leaving some lacings. Aroma is apple, pear, citrus, wheat and some sweet note. Taste is a bit sour apple flesh up-front, developes to more artificial sweeter apples tones, with wheat, citrus and grass. Medium body, medium carbo, slight sticky texture. Nah, too much sweet apple dominance, slight artificial at times.
