Sampled from a 12 oz green bottle this beer poured a vibrant golden color with a medium sized soapy white head. The aroma was intensely strong sweet and tart apple. The flavor was tart, tangy and sweet green apple peel. The finish was amazingly long tart and sweet apple. Incredible.

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2014 (21/08/2011) draft@’t Antwaerps Bierhuiske: sparkling yellow with a white head, served in a flute, smells like green apples, tastes like Appletizer, very refreshing insanely drinkable, greatest soft drink ever ////////////////////// (06/01/2014) 375 ml. bottle @ home. Procured from Delhaize. Slightly hazy hay golden, head vanishes virtually immediately. Smells like Appletizer, sweet apple candy, sugary, total soda but in a great way. Taste is like sparkling Appletizers, good kind of sweeteners, apple candy, this is pure candy, alcopop, bubbly artificial in the finish, sweeteners, touch hay. This is an incredible lemonade, not a beer but this tastes so good. If people can live with “Wisconsin Belgian Red” (I think that one also tastes of artificial additives, deal with it) they should also be able to love this one. 4.3 -> 4.5

Pours fizzy golden with a large white head. Smells exclusively of apples. Taste follows the nose perfectly; apples with a hint of maltiness. Light-bodied with a prickly texture and lots of carbonation; Lindemans Pomme finishes with a slight astringency and fruitiness

The bottle looks like a champagne and there is realy a cork in it. Tasty fruit beer, like a fizzy apple juice.

750 ml bottle. If you love apple, you will love this beer. Green apple aromas and flavor dominates this one. It makes it a bit one dimensional, and tastes more like a hard cider, than a beer. That being said, I’m a big fan of hard cider, and lambic, so I found Pomme to be a very enjoyable beer drinking experience. This beer pours to a slightly hazy, pale golden color, with a thick, white head, and a vibrant carbonation. The nose on this beer is very fragrant with aroma of fresh picked apples. The palate is firm, and delivers more of the same. Lots of crisp sweet/sour/tangy Granny Smith apple flavor dances on the tongue with a good bit of carbonation. Pomme finishes with more great apple flavor up front, then ends with a crisp, sweet/sour apple flavor that lingers. Like taking a big bite of a crisp, and juicy Granny Smith apple. Delicious beer, that would work well as an aperitif, with a cheese course, or with a big slab of hot apple pie ala mode with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream.

This takes you back to a fall day with apple cider, only this has much more of a kick that the good ol fashioned stuff, although it tasted just like it, hazy golden color with an ample white head, left an outstanding lace around the glass, lots of apple aroma & an incredible apple flavor, they really captured the flavor of apples in this beer, smooth & troubling drinkable, an absoute outstanding beer

One of the finest beers I ever drank. The smell of green apples is just astonishing - suits perfect for a hot summer day. However, there is one limitation: as much as I like this beer, I’m not able to drink more than one bottle, because it tends to create a very odd and horribly sweet film in your mouth. What a pity..

Very hazy gold coloured body with a thin white head. Aroma of granny smith apples (of course), yeast, wheat and sugar - VERY nice! Medium-bodied; Perfect sweetness with apples & malt noticeable. Aftertaste clean and sweet - good fruityness with a perfect amount of malt as well. Damn good to try - well worth it! I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased at Whole Foods in Clarendon (Arlington), Virginia on 23 November 2006 (Thanksgiving).

Holy apples batman. Purchased a bottle of this at a local beer store, probably my favorite lambic from Lindemanns. Its a good drink. Yellow and cloudy in color. Carbonation formed a complete and tall head, three fingers, fell off by head remained steady. Nice carbonation, filled the area with an huge smell of sour apple. Its an apple beer and it does not fail to deliver apples. Goes down easy, a very good beer IMO. I need to research lambics more to see if its a good example of a lambic. I’ve heard people complain that Lindemanns does not make "true" lambics. Not sure about this.
