(Bottle. 03/2006). Aroma: apples. Appearance: hazy, straw -- or clear, straw -- depending on how aggressively you pour it. Fast dissipating white, head. Flavor: SWEET, appley. Palate: Medium-light. Overall: not bad, just so, so, so, so sweet ... a lambic with training-wheels, definitely (lacks any of the more funky lambic aspects ... they’re probably there but just so muted by the syrupy apple aromas and tastes you’d never know).

Taste is tart green apple, light funk. Crisp, but sweet. Kind of like a tart cider. I like it.

This attractive lambic is not as crisp as some ciders, and not as sweet as others, but shares many of their other characteristics. Pours an attractive hazy gold, with a significant off-white head. The nose is must, green apple, sugar, what you expect from a cider of the second order. But the taste does that one better, with a lemon splash that cuts the sugar until a sweet but not cloying finish. Not tremendously complex, but well done, and with the low ABV, it’s easy drinking.

0,375L bottle, BB 14.01.2015. Pours clear orange with white head. Aroma is sweet and sour, apples, some wheat. Flavor is very sweet, apples, some metallic notes. Doesn’t feel watery despite the low ABV. Overall: ok brew.

Shared by martjoobolut, thanks! Clear gold, beige head. Nose is starchy, apple, apple peel, syrupy sweetness, musty notes. Flavor is tartness, apple and apple peel, sweetness in the finish. Surprisingly crisp. Tasted better than the starchy nose led me to believe.

Smells like fermented apples and some sweetness. Taste follows with a good sweet/sour balance. Just a bit of funky yeast presence. Not bad overall but I wouldn’t seek it out again.

Hazy golden with a white head. Sweet tart apple aroma- clean, crisp, floral, sour. Taste has apple, lots of sugar and slight tartness at the end. Light body and carbonation.

Det här var rätt juste, smaken var fint balanserad med toner av granny smith äpple, mandelmassa och lätt syra. Kroppen var lagom stabil och balansen satt på sin plats.

@ Röhällavägen 141029. Bottle (250 ml) from Systembolaget (17:-), Fruity and very sweet with some light citric notes and apples/apple juice, medium body with an oily texture. The finish is dry, sweet and fruity. I like the apples and it’s quite fresh but the sweetness is too much.

Well, i could have cut and paste the brewers description on this one. the flavor is great. sweetish green apple, good mouthfeel, followed by a cool mix of the tartness from the apples and from the yeast...it is a lambic after all. the nose was not as impressive although not unpleasant. just a little more funk...smelled a touch of old beer smell with all the other goodness. cloudy, carbonated apple juice color, decent head when poured fairly liberally. overall, a nice change from cider and one i’ll have again. 2/16/09 for me, the lambic tartness seems to go beter with apple than currant, even though the overall average for this beer is the lowest of the three, it’s my favorite. not too sweet."
