2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 diabel (1538) - Aarschot, - AUG 20, 2005
Bottle Hazy blond body. White, frothy head. Sweet (artificial) apple aroma. Moderately sweet, lightly sour flavour, but not very well-balanced. Yet another uninteresting beer in their gamma, luckfully not as sweet as others. Why don’t they make an oude kriek in the Cuvée Rénée-style?

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Scopey (1678) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 8, 2012
Bottle at my Pre-CBC Tune-Up Tasting. It pours golden yellow, with a thick white head. The nose is sweet, tangy sour apple and sugar - akin to sour apple Chewits! The taste is tangy apple, lime, apple juice and pear, with a tangy finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A bit 1D, but it does what it says on the tin. Actually not too bad.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 scottyg354 (2) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 8, 2012 does not count
This beer pours a straw yellow with a small fluffy head and minimal lacing. He disipates after a while.
The nose on this one has an odd funkiness too it, it’s really hard to explain I almost want to say metallic funk. Apples are present as well.
Taste is slightly sour with a huge apple flavor. Think sour apple jolly rancher and you have a good idea. Personally I enjoyed it, probably won’t be for all though.
Crisp and refreshing, definetely a good summertime brew.
Overall I enjoyed it as I enjoy almost all of Lindemans offerings.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jrizko (42) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 31, 2012
UPDATED: APR 6, 2012 First Taste, Home, 355mL Bottle, Vintage Aug. 2011, Flute, 4% ABV, Cellar Temp, 30/03/12. #29.)
Appearance (4/5): Pours a hazy, medium, pale straw color, with a huge, frothy, white, fully lasting head with excellent lacing.
Aroma (6/10): Dominant green apple, with cloves, pear, and a little lime.
Taste (6/10): Tart green apple cider, very sugary sweet, almost candy like. No bitterness. Short, sweet finish.
Palate (3/5): Light body, lively carbonation, slightly syrupy texture, sticky finish.
Overall (13/20): The aroma is pleasant, and it is very refreshing, but almost too sweet. Not as complex or well balanced as Lindemans’ other fruit lambics.
Drinkability: 4/5. Character: 2/5. Buy Again: No.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 Strykzone (3135) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - MAR 27, 2012
Sampled at an esbls tasting. Bought in Columbia, Mo. Hazy light brown withno foam. Apples in the aroma. This is pretty much cider. A bit of spice on the tip of my tongue.
