blipp (599), Grand Island, New York, USA May 6, 2008 Draft at Tap and Mallet in Rochester. Poured hazy goldenrod with a thin white head. Aroma is cider like and more sweet than tart with a strong note of granny smith apples and a lighter citrus note. Medium body, kind of tingly on the tongue. Sweet flavor, again with granny smith apples this time with a more noticeable tartness. A bit one dimensional but nice.
BoBoChamp (271), Gent, Belgium Jul 21, 2008 25cl, from Geers Oostakker, easy to drink fruit beer, refreshing, cloudy, good head, nothing special, too sweet rustychiles (373), Mesa, Arizona, USA Jul 21, 2008 On tap at made in the shade festival in flagstaff az. Pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is sour apples, and yeast. Flavor is tart apples, with some sweetness to balance it out. I like lindemans for bringing this style to the masses, but ther e is much that could be improved upon. bermod (82), Lappeenranta, Finland Jul 15, 2008 Sour apple juice in aroma. Bit malty flavor is also sour apple juicy. Not for my taste really. Guinness4Duff (429), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA Jul 13, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy blonde pour with a white head. Sweet apple aroma and taste, nicely tart flavor. Very Good. nuplastikk (381), Maryland, USA Jul 9, 2008 Updated: Jul 15, 2008375ml corked bottle bought in Brussels and brought back to the US where is was closet-aged for a year or so. Imbibed on March 9, 2008, Casper’s last day. Casper was the best. Endless salutations. This beer is great, I remember the first time I had it, in a hotel in Brussels, a hell of a bargain by today standards, I drank it room temperature. Much more enjoyable cold. Sweet cidery taste, but a much creamier body. If you were into ciders this would blow you away. Great stuff for what it is. Go Belgium.
