porterhouse (1148), Alna, Maine, USA Sep 18, 2007 (375 ml corked bottle, best before end 10/06 (this small bottle says 3.5% ABV and doesn’t have word "Lambic" on it) Kind of weird but tasty...Pours light purplish crimson with two fingers of lightly purplish-pink off-white head. Aroma is a little odd - strong mint leaf?, maybe some other spice, sourness and grape. Mouthfeel soft and light, soft bubbly fizziness. Very nice sturdy rings of lacing. Flavor is the mint and maybe other spice in the fore transitioning to sourness and tart grape/cherry. Different but I enjoyed it. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 05/18/2000

boboski (1095), Alabama, USA Aug 28, 2007 Clear dark red pour with violet hues, a small head atop the liquid forms and fades quickly, just a brief blast of pink and crimson. Aromas of fresh black currants, vinegar, mild tartness and sweet sugars seep through first. Closely behind are bready malts, light fresh mint, earthiness and pear skin. The nose is moderately medicinal. The flavor is highly sweet, but a high acidity level brings this closer to the adored realm of the state of a true, tart lambic. Vinegar notes are still noticeable and pounce on the fruit, dialing it’s intensity up a notch but in a direction that is less flavorful even though it becomes more quenching. Astringency is moderate. The finish is very sweet, quite tart and actually well balanced. The palate is medium bodied, healthily carbonated and enduring. Rather odd but at least it’s interesting. BeerBiker (1384), Odense, Denmark Aug 26, 2007 [Sampled with Henrik at Jyske Øldage, 2004 in Kolding.] At the finish we attacked the Lindemans section to catch some fruitbeer after a lot of strong belgians. The all were very good and we defenately agreed that it couldn’t be better. Now three years later, we go for the sips. Like Ribena, Strange!!! JamesD (192), Centreville, Virginia, USA Aug 18, 2007 Pours a ruby red with a delicious fruity aroma. This beer has a very complex flavor, it begins with berries, currants, sweetness, and a little tartness, then gives way to juicy berry flavor. Afterwards a lingering sourness remains on the palate. Very good. jarspag (593), Los Angeles, California, USA Aug 17, 2007 Exceptionally light and refreshing...would be something good to drink with a meal. Had a nice balance between sweet and sour - which I enjoyed because I am not the biggest fan of extremely sour beers. Didn’t have an insane funk like a lambic should...therefore, not very traditional. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA Aug 16, 2007 Bottle. Had this bottle almost a year before pulling the cork on it last night. Pours out a dark purple color with a reddish purple head on it. Smell is sweet and sour, with some oak flavors. There is somewhat of a cherry / blackberry smell to it. Interesting smell. Taste is sweet and refreshing and very smooth. Kind of sour, but not over powering sour flavors. A good entry level lambic, and a good summer lambic, it can be gulped, almost like fruit juice. johndoughty (2150), cheslyn hay, West Midlands, England Aug 13, 2007 The bottle said 3.5 rather than 4 per cent. Poured with a massive head that took up three quarters of the glass. Dark purple and a lot different from my usual beer. A bit like Ribena with alcohol. Different and refreshing.
