Lindemans Cassis Lambic

Blood red coloured with some light carbonation and an average dark pink head. Light fruity aroma. Full sweet fruity, light sour palate. Finish is fruity, sweet-sour, nice balanced.

Beautiful red color. Small head despite high carbonation. Aroma is sweet and fruity. Initial taste of cherries. Very classy and refreshing overall. good in summer....after a spicey meal...for dessert, nice every once in awhile

Another beer my wife will drink. Pours a hazy purple. Purple to pinkish head that settles slowly. Sweet light fruity nose (DUH) Mouth and tounge are sweet then tart MMMMMM..black curranty, with lasting tart aftertaste/finish. Yummy. Re-rate 12/7/07 yeilds similar

Pours a deep burgandy with a light purple head. Aroma is cherries with some grape as well. Sour, dark fruits, yeast, and very sweet. Body is full and creamy, but has a nice amount of carbonation as well. Flavor is sweet and sour fruit. Has a tart and dry finish. I enjoyed this one.

Nice authentic fruit aroma and pinkish head. Very sweet with a good natural currant flavor but none too complex.

Bottle: Poured a dark red with a thick pink/light red head. The aroma was a fruit and currants mix. The flavor is sweet fruit and very taste with a dry finish.

Green bottle, cap and cork, 37,5 cl, best before June 2008, savoured on February 21 2007; eye: burgundy color when pouring but turns into a grape juice color, creamy head also reminescent of grape juice, head falls rapidly to leave a ring around the glass, some lacing; nose: fruity, probably black currant, cork, humid basement; mouth: fruity (probably the black currant), lots of fruity sugar that remains for the length of each sip, raspberry, nice enjoyable acidity, long fruity finale and quite sweet as well, creamy and sticky texture, light astringence, full body, good carbonation; overall: quite enjoyable FRANÇAIS Bouteille verte, capsule et bouchon de liège, 37,5 cl, meilleure avant juin 2008, savourée le 21 février 2007; oeil : bourgogne lorsqu’on la verse mais qui devient comme un jus de raisin, mousse crémeuse couleur jus de raisin et qui tombe assez rapidement pour laisser un anneau autour du verre, dentelle; nez : fruité, probablement le cassis, liège, cave humide; bouche : fruitée (probablement le cassis), beaucoup de sucre fruitée présent tout au long de la gorgée, framboise, belle petite acidité, longue finale fruitée et assez sucrée, texture crémeuse et collante, légèrement astringente, corsée, bonne carbonatation; en résumé : bien aimée

Pours dark maroon, with pink fluffy head. Head stays till the end. Nice tart flavor, no real finish.
