Saarlander (1577), Saarlouis, Germany Jul 24, 2006 Not as sweet as expected, quite tart. Nice currant flavor, easy drinking, like the tartness of this one. mkgrenwel (420), Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA Jul 22, 2006 Simultaneously sweet and tart. Very fruity, almost tastes like carbonated juice. But, with that lambic sourness in the background. Wheaty and crisp, balancing the sweetness of the currants. Mouth puckeringly good. Nice carbonation adds depth without overpowering. In my mind, exactly what a fruit lambic should be. Miles ahead of the peche shp555 (1677), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Jul 17, 2006 Tap: Sweet fruity smell. Decent mouth feel. Tasted like carbonated fruit juice. I guess I just don’t have enough experiance with lambics to appreciate them. JonMoore (1561), Loughborough, Leicestershire, England Jul 17, 2006 Bottle. Falstaff, Place de la Bastille. Nice fruit lambic; blacurrant purple colour with a big pink/purple head. Aroma of blackcurrent. Taste is blackcurrants and nicely tart. Very good. davidflores99 (225), Long Beach, California, USA Jul 14, 2006 This brew wasn’t that bad, I was expecting a more sweet taste from this, but didn’t get it. Light carbonation, but smooth going down, not a bad one after all. SudsMcDuff (1691), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA Jul 11, 2006 mmmmm, i love me a lamb....dark ruby...great light purple head...deep berry smell...like wine but only the nicest qualitys there of...somewhat sour tang...bitter touch, enjoyable. ratman197 (3137), Arvada, Colorado, USA Jul 8, 2006 bottle poured a cloudy reddish purple with large lasting creamy light burgandy head. Aromas of black currants, a bit of wheat and a hint of honey. Palate was light bodied and tart. Flavors of currants, honey and some wheat with a lingering sweetart finish. My favorite Lindemans so far, still a bit sweet though. microakes (94), Canada Jul 6, 2006 While this is easily the tartest of the Lindeman’s lambics, it’s still fairly sweet. It’s what makes it one of my personal favourites. And the nearly- purple red colour is always good for making people what you’re drinking, exactly.
