jde123 (715), Washington, Washington DC, USA Oct 14, 2004 I would like to echo Asland’s reverence towards the venerable Mr. Tomness on the contribution to his new motorbike. On occasion I have had the chance to enjoy the motorbike, and let me tell you, it was excitement personified. Riding the motorbike is the greatest experience on earth. Joeh (1908), Buckinghamshire, England Oct 10, 2004 Bottle picked up in Belgium. Oh look, more crap from Lindemans. This is truly awful. I would say it’s like undiluted Ribena, but the blackcurrants in this taste faker. Amazingly overrated crap. hershiser2 (903), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Sep 28, 2004 Deep plum colored, with a large purplish head. Lovely blackcurrant aroma. taste is of sweet, ripe, blackcurrants- like you just picked one off of a bush and popped it into your mouth. A fine lambic, though one at a time is more than emough. JayBaxter (386), Greater Manchester, Greater Manchester, England Sep 26, 2004 Incredibly dark red colour, full of bubbles that cling to the side of the glass.Wonderful aroma of fresh blackcurrents and a huge mouthfull of the fruit when you drink it,a slight sour edge to it that I like.Nice fresh palate,I couldnt drink more than one,but I do like it. badgerben (3587), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Sep 25, 2004 Dark purple color with a foamy head. Berries dominate the aroma, but more of an earthy overtone than a fruity one. Good blackberry taste backed up by quite a bit of malted and raw barley. I thought it was pretty tasty, but probably a hit or miss with most people. jbrus (4835), Delft, Netherlands Sep 15, 2004 Strong blackberry aroma. Very dark red color, pink head, very nice lace. Blackberry syrup and sweet start. After swalling some vinegar which was the only positive authentic about it, medium body. After this one I decided to never buy a Cassis again. I hate the blackberry flavor. IndianaRed (1553), Boise, Idaho, USA Sep 7, 2004 Bottle Pours a cloudy pink/purple with a very nice light pink head. I’m not sure how black currants are supposed to taste but the aroma is wonderful. full and strong. A cross between cherries and grapes. Flavor is a terrific mix of sweet and tart. Stong carbonation, and a dry finish. Very refreshing. Delicious. hopnpop (68), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 30, 2004 Beautiful red color. Small head despite high carbonation. Aroma is sweet and fruity. Initial taste of cherries. Very classy and refreshing overall.
