DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA May 14, 2004 I really like the Lindemans and Liefmans lambics. Whether you like fruit or not, you have to respect what they accomplish with these. Very nice. MullMan (1080), Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA May 3, 2004 dark red color, clear at edges. dark pink lasting head. sour berry nose. hang time on lacing too. swet and dry berry flavor, light fizz. JMerritt (1313), Macomb, Illinois, USA Apr 30, 2004 Beautiful cranberry colored, slightly hazy, with a grand pink head. Nice head retention and lacing. Big currant aroma, with sour cheeses and musty canvas intermixed. A fantastic mix of sweet and sour flavors -- red grapes, black currants, and blackberries release a tartness that is quite striking. Soft, creamy, and slightly fizzy on the palate. Tart finish has defenite oak flavors. Delicious. masedawg (156), Statesville, North Carolina, USA Apr 29, 2004 Updated: Apr 13, 2005This is the worst drink I have ever had in my life. I swear somebody mixed boxed wine and busch light together and stuck it in a bottle. Man up and drink some real beer. bluekidney (8), Sumner, Washington, USA does not count Apr 26, 2004 Pete's Wines, Lake Union - Seattle: Currant flavor is a little tart. Tastes great if you like tart beverages (I do!). Nice color -- looks like a dark champagne. :-) BeerDude78 (86), Denville, New Jersey, USA Apr 25, 2004 A decent lambic, has a very tart taste to it. Sweet when you first sip it up then it leaves with a tart aftertaste. Way too sour for my tastes though. pantani (1894), Salinas, California, USA Apr 11, 2004 Sour, grapy aroma. Pink head, ruby coloration. Very tart, sweet, just like the other lambics, just like carbinated fruit juice. Pretty good, I like the lindemans peche better, but this is good none the less. Syd (888), Waconia, Minnesota, USA Mar 26, 2004 Bottle pours a deep ruby red color with an awsome looking pink head and lot of lace. The aroma is of currant, with a real sour bite late in the aroma, almost like yogurt in the nose, and slightly sour. The flavor is real fruity, yogurt, more tart as it progresses into the finish, and somewhat sour in the finish - sort of like a liquid SweetTart candy. The palate is crisp, refreshing, and nicely carbonated. Overall, this is not very Lambic like, but I actually like it fairly well.
