3.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Iíve run the gambit and tried all the flavors now... I was most excited for this one, but I prefer the raspberry and especially the peach. It did have one of the coolest heads on it that Iíve ever seen. A beautiful merlot color rushes up... if I rated it purely on looks, it would get an A+.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Big head, cranberry body, unusual nose: perhaps berries, but another posterís reference to mint leaves rings true. This is very sweet yet very sour at the same time, but light on lambic-ness. Not bad, not great.

Cranberry color with much carbonation. Fruity aroma and flavor with very tart finish.

2.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
Highly carbonated cranberry juice appearance. Fruity, berry aroma and fruity flavro followed by tart, puckering aftertaste. Not for my taste buds.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Nice dark red color with an amazing mint aroma. A quality lambic that isnít as good as the Framboise but is much better than Lindemanís Kreik. Hints of cinamon and raisin mix well to make this a very satisfying lambic. Will have to keep an eye out for black currants in the future.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Iím just a sucker for black currants, so this rating may be a bit out of wack. Currants dominate the nose and the flavor of this completely. It probably should be a bit more tart and have some other flavors in there to balance the currants, but this beer just does it for me.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
I had originally rated this a 3.2, but had to change it because as the glass went on, I found it harder and harder to consume more. The currant is overwhelming and its flavor sticks in your mind for days. ORIGINAL RATING: Very sophisticated. Lots of spice from the currants in the nose which didnít appeal to me, not a beer to try if youíre not used to them. Red color with pink head. Powerful, a bit of alcohol in the flavor. Nice sweet finish. I still prefer the framboise.

0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
I am a fan of Lindemans Lambics, however this was the most repulsive beverage I ever attempted to consume. It looked good but smelled and tasted VERY rancid. I tried to drink the entire bottle because it was $7.50, however I couldnít drink even half. To me, it ranks up there with Brussel sprouts...awful!

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Blood reddish color, pink mousse foam. Sweet Ribena (insert appropriate trade symbol) aroma, mellows and shows some dusty woodiness. Sparkling delivery, sweet suagry, blackcurrant (lots of) palate. Slight sugary aftertatse. Not much complexity and not a drop of lambic. Still glad to say I got my wife away from Miller Lite and Smirnoff Ice even if it does cost a little more.

Blackberry through and through. Someone call Shasta -- Iíve got a new formula for their blackberry soda.
