3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Purchased for my wife, and she seemed to enjoy it. Purple with a little fizzy head. Musty, sour, berry aroma. Sour, black currant fruit flavor. It seems to be of adequate quality for a lambic. These lambics just dont hold any attraction for me. I wouldnt even call them a beer. Overpriced, and a waste of money.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a deep red with a dark pink fluffy head that leaves little lacing.
Aroma is sour with some nice fruitiness to it. Quite nice.
Flavor is pleasant; the currants are subtle and far from overpowering. Itís sour as is the style, but itís balanced with a nice sweetness presumably from the currants.
Palate is crisp and full. Overall, this is nice. Itís not nearly as fruity as a lot of Lambics and would be a good beer to use to show how different beers can be as there is nothing objectionable here at all.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Black currant candies floating in red wine.
Prickly black currant skin covers the flavor spectrum with its heightened sweetness. Straightforward and perhaps pleasant on a hot summer afternoon.
I have a hankering for popsicles once in a while.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Strong candy-like black currant aroma has some occasional minty notes. Opaque reddish-purple body with decent cover of pink-white head that laces nicely. Very sweet candy-like fruitiness that is enjoyable but displays very little beer or lambic character. Very slight tartness in the finish. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Bottle (City Market Burlington, Nov. 2004) sampled with beerbuzzmontreal, ClarkVV, MartinT, muzzlehatch, Olivier, Rastacouere and Simon.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a dark red color with a thin pink head. Sweet but somewhat unpleasant aroma of black currants. Unpleasant flavor of black currants, itís much to sweet.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear pinky blood color. Limited head. Strong grapey cassis aroma. Extreme level of sweetness, nothing else, no alcohol trace whatsoever. So sweet it burns, overwhelming. The slightest hint at branches keep it from being a disaster, very cloying nature, teeth sticking. Smooth bodied, soft carbonation, syrupy mouthfeel. I donít know.. I donít enjoy it, but for a fruit syrupy beer, it is well made indeedÖ

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Available in the bottle served with the appropriate glassware at the Sharp Edge Creekhouse in Pittsburgh, PA. Very nice appearance. An interesting musty aroma. Reminds me of the inside smells of the Noahís Ark in Kennywood Park. Very easy to drink. I would consider this equal in stature to the raspberry. Equal, but different, a very good beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Deep purple body with a pink head, lots of lacing down the glass. Aroma is of currants with some light woody notes. Mildly sweet, currants and a light vinegar notes. Some light tartness balancing out the fruity sweetness. Overall a bit too sweet, but that was expected from this one.
