Jan 9, 2009 Bottle courtesy of a sibling for Christmas. Aroma of yeast, black currents and a hint of lemon. Flavor was a bit sweet with a slight hint of sour. Dark currant, generic berry and some sugariness.

Jan 5, 2009 Plum colored, frothy pink head. Raspberry blueberry aroma, some lemon juice tartness. Syrup forward, takes away from any deep character. Not my thing, though I’m sure many people are introduced into eclectic beer from this approachable interpretation of the style.

Dec 31, 2008 50cl bottle from Fresh Market (Tampa, FL). Pours a dark red violet color with a one finger frothy pinkish-purple head that settles slowly and heavily laces the glass. Aroma is black raspberry, pepper, assorted ripe wild berries, and hints of malty sweetness. Flavor is much the same of the nose--ripe berry fruit flavors with some peppery malt notes and hints of honey and sugar. A medium body tart lambic with a sweet berry finish.

Dec 23, 2008 2002 vintage served in 2008. Pours a hazy purple body with a light purple head. Currants, berries, and light oak. Lightly acidic but still tart and creamy. Good stuff.
Age truely did this justice. 4.0

Dec 20, 2008 Pours a lovely pinkish-purple with a small but lasting head and nice lacing. Aroma is musty, sweet and sour with just a touch of astringent blueberry skin. Tastes very sweet, purple concord grapes and a lingering cassis finish. Good carbonation and a somewhat creamy body. A fun, easy-drinking lambic.

Considerd a 4 for apperence couse its nice to look at and looks different, but the content of 25percent cassis juice makes the apperence quite obvious.
Lots of berries in aroma, apperence and flavour. Thirst quenching.

Dec 12, 2008 Bottle. Pours dark purple with pink hioghlights, frothy pink head, good lace. Smells very fruity and sweet, like... grapes. Tastes very, very sweet and fruity. Currants obviously. Only slightly tart. Ok, way too sweet. Medium body, good carbonation.
