COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lindemans Cassis is a lambic made from local barley, unmalted wheat, and wild yeast. After spontaneous fermentation the lambic is aged in oak. Black currants are added creating a secondary fermentation and yielding an ale of exceptional flavor and complexity.

Looks awesome, with a purply head I’ve never seen before. High carbonation. Tart, so very tart, and complex like a fine wine. This is just superb, I can just imagine the lambic sitting there with the blackcurrants in the secondary fermentation slowly creating the flavours blessing my mouth. I’d heard that Lindemans can be too sweet but I didn’t find that at all in this case. A truly gourmet drink.

From a 35 cl bottle shared in Avon NC. Pours a cloudy reddish brown with a rose colored head. Slight pepperment nose. Flavors of tart cherry and other red fruit. Tart finish.

Pours dark red like a wine. Strong aroma of black current, grape, fruits. Balanced and tender taste of black current with notes of citrus hops (or probably yeast). Great beer

Bottle at home, from Beermerchants, 16/05/15. Rich Ribena red with a well appointed crimson covering. Nose is rich blackurrant, raspberry jam, light wood, straw. Taste comprises sweet blackcurrant squash, light background aciditiy, blackcurrant syrup, sweet licks. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sweet blackcurrant rinse. Ok - no discernable lambic profile, I’d rate this as an OK fruit beer if a touch overly sweet.

Opaque burgundy with pink head. Aroma of black currant and funk. Sour sweet up front, sour black current tartness and berries on the finish. Not very complex, but tasty. Enjoyed as an after dinner drink.

May 8, 2015. Bottle at home.
Purple with a large frothy pinkish head. Aroma is just black currant, smells just like the homemade black currant cordial we had when we were young. Taste is sweet fruity up front with a tart fruity finish. Medium bodied, average carbonation. It’s all about the black currant in this, the lambic is lost, but I do like black currants...

[Ölresa Bryssel med Wihlan 2015] riktigt bra för 3,5. Väldigt fruktig och druvig, bra balans mellan sötman och syrligheten
