COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lindemans Cassis is a lambic made from local barley, unmalted wheat, and wild yeast. After spontaneous fermentation the lambic is aged in oak. Black currants are added creating a secondary fermentation and yielding an ale of exceptional flavor and complexity.

Looks awesome, with a purply head I’ve never seen before. High carbonation. Tart, so very tart, and complex like a fine wine. This is just superb, I can just imagine the lambic sitting there with the blackcurrants in the secondary fermentation slowly creating the flavours blessing my mouth. I’d heard that Lindemans can be too sweet but I didn’t find that at all in this case. A truly gourmet drink.

Bottle from O. Clear ruby color with slightly off white head. Aroma is blackcurrant and light citrus. Taste is sweetish blackcurrant with some very light tart citrus. Basically blackcurrant juice and it’s awesome!

UPDATED: APR 26, 2016 Barwa ciemnoczerwona, trochę zamglona. Obfita, różowa piana, długo się utrzymuje. Aromat soku z czarnych porzeczek, trochę nut dzikich, stajni.

Clear ruby color with really nice pink head. Aroma is intensely fruity, feels natural, tart. Taste follows, tart but also slightly sweet and really fruity overall. Medium body and carbonation. Really nice overall, one of the best sweetened lambics. It doesn’t have intense lambic notes but it compensates with intense fruit flavors.

375ml bottle from Favourite Beers, Cheltenham. Pours a deep red-purple colour with a decent light purple head and some lacing. Aroma is pretty much just blackcurrant. Taste is sweet blackcurrant, very little in the way of any sourness but some in the aftertaste. It’s a little too sweet but otherwise a really nice lambic, if not particularly beer-like. Very drinkable though.

Noir avec reflet rouge (où vous versa) sinon odeur de cassis, goût de cassis, donc pas de surprise! Un peu acide, acidulé, près trop sucré pourtant. agréable si on aime le cassis;)

Bottle. Dark pink color. Aroma of sour berries, mild tart and barnyard. Fresh taste of sour berries, mild horseblanket, old grain and sadly a little syrupy sweetness. But it actually has some lambic flavor, nice.

From a bottle. Mild blackcurrant aroma. Pours dark red with a frothy red head. Blackcurrant flavour with balancing lambic sourness and notes of champagne. Light bodied with a lingering sweetness in the finish. Very drinkable.

Bottle shared at THT. Hazy purple with a small pink head. Aroma of big black current, both sweet and tart, a light funk and dank note also showing up. Flavour is over moderate sweet. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.
