3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Strange but not bad, I've had just about thier entire line but this was the first time I've ever ran across this and figured I'd try it.
Tart, fruity and entirely quaffable as I recall.
At the time I was about a 7 on the buzz scale.

Pours a dark purple brown. One finger of dark reddish head persists. Aroma is tart and sweet and fruity. Currant flavor is very pronounced. Some blueberries also. Nice for a fruit beer. Too sweet and not sour enough. Overall refreshing though.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle @ Bedford Arms, Bedford. Pours purplish reddish black with a big shark-got-the-guy-in-the-water head. Aroma is a big currant hit with a hint if seawater. The taste is a sour fruit flavour, nicely balanced. A decent beer.

Drank with Rik and Lennart while watching wie is de mol. Okay cassis taste. However, not special, rich enough and too sour for my taste.

355 ml corked and capped bottle. Clear deep purple, light purple foam head. Berry yeasty aroma. Tart taste of sweet and sour fruity black berry and not much else. Average carbonation, light bodied, low hopped. Clean acidic dry finish. Overall, it’s just really yummy fruit juice. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

UPDATED: MAR 2, 2014 Pours a deep blue with purple head. Aroma is sweet black currants. Sweet, fruity and tart mouth feel with medium carbonation. Aftertaste is Tart, fruity and lasting malt finish. Overall: Wow. This beer gave me memories of homemade black currant jam. Well done. Sweeter and not as tart as the lindemans framboise.

On tap at the Forge. Appearance: beautiful deep purple color, purple head that does not last long but turns to a lasting film. Aroma: black current is very heavy, definitely some other lighter fruit. Palate: light body, juicy and wet texture. Taste: Medium sweetness to medium tartness to medium full sourness. Overall, first Lindeman’s and I am in love. It is so good.
