COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s made from malt, wheat, hops, water, yeast. Candy sugar is added before the bottling takes place. It is a clear, light red colored faro lambic with a small, creamy head.

Bottle, purchased from La Bodega in Anchorage, AK. Murky sediment-laden orange-brown body, thin off-white ring of carbonation. Rindy nose, with brie cheese, horse blanket, and sawdust, funky and tart, with modest appleskin. Dusty body but distinctly sweetened; tastes like apple juice with a bit of medicinal funk. Soft and flabby, barely sour.

Barnyardy tart lemon tea aromas. Candy sugar blasts the palate initially which is followed iced tea with a touch of lemon. Reminds me of sweet tea with lemon which I had in Alabama.

Appearance: rusty brown, small fizzy off-pink head, minimal lacing. Aroma: malt, sweet-tart candies, hint of maraschino syrup. Taste: a bit of fruit (raspberry, cherry, sour apple?), but mainly a kind of sweet malt character over a puckering sour tang with a bit of almost saison-like funk. Finish: dry yet sticky, malty and puckeringly tart with a nice sweet balance. Notes: A sweet and sour sauce of a beer. I know Faros are generally light on fruit, but there was some definite fruit characteristics here; maybe from the wild yeast? Either way, I really dug it in a weird kind of way. Very sweet, but also very sour/tart, with a great level of carbonation to keep it quaffable. Rating 4 for now, but I’ll revisit with a jaundiced and suspicious eye. Did I REALLY like this as much as I thought I did?

Refrigerated bottle poured into a shaker. Pours clear amber with big off-white head that dissapates quickly. Aroma is fruit, medium body medium lacing, and slightly sticky texture. Taste is sweet fruit (moostly berry) to start and slightly tart fruit in the finish.

Bottle. Clear nut brown body, with a small white head. Aroma:taste of leather, farmyard, wood, sour cherries, acid, with a sweet body. Full bodied. Leaves a "furry" fealing in you mouth at the end of the beer.

I didn’t expect the sweetness, noting that more than the sourness behind it. Color was nice, a good red/brown, and the palate was like a bizarre lemonade. A good intro lambic.

Pours ruby red from bottle with an inch of light brown head that rapidly disapates. Lots of carbonation on the tongue. The nose is pungent with an undertone of sweetness. On the tongue theres some sourness but also a touch of sugar as well. This one lingers for a long time. Nice change of pace from the fruit lambics.
