375ml bottle at a cafe in Mornac, France 12/6/08. Chestnut coloured with a big, foamy tan head. Aroma of dark sugar and preserved sweet. Flavour had some dessert wine sweetness with a hint of lambic tartness. Much better than the other bottled faros I have tried.

Bottle at Theatre de Toone, Brussels. My first faro. Corked bottle. Dark hazy amber color with a head that ringed. Very mild aroma. Seems a bit soapy. Medium body with sharpish yet mild carbonation. It’s sweet and sour at the same time. Flavor is light sour, light oak, light raisin. It’s certainly balanced. Good drink.

Pours an amber color with a nice white head and lots of carbonation. Sharp aroma of berries, maybe some pears. Very sugary sweet, malty body has a crisp, dry finish. Tasty.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a bubbly head that quickly subsides. Very sweet on the tongue with sour apple and cherry flavours (also in the aroma). Smooth with a slight carbonation, it’s incredibly easy to drink. Nice beer.

(0,375 bottle, 4% ABV) Hazy and amber color with lots of bubbles. Thin and thick white, lacy head. Much sour apple and cherry in aroma. Fruity and sweet flavor: cherries etc. Very sweet and sugary taste. Medium-bodied, a bit carbonated palate. A bit mild but refreshing, very easily drikable and quite enjoyable beer.

Bottle, shared by dickinsonbeer. Amber pour. Aroma is sweet white sugar over a lightly sour beer. Same flavor, sweet white sugar up front with tart fruit behind it. Interesting.
