COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s made from malt, wheat, hops, water, yeast. Candy sugar is added before the bottling takes place. It is a clear, light red colored faro lambic with a small, creamy head.

It poured a hazy orangish color with a decent white head. The aroma brings out some citrus, grapes, apples, and some maltiness. The taste was somewhat sour, but mostly a refreshing finish. A very decent faro lambic beer.

Interesting beer. It poured out a light brown/red color with a light tan head, very carbonated. Smell is a mix of candy sugar and a light zesty citrus aroma. Taste is very interesting sweet of maple syrup and dark fruit with then a slight tartness at the end. Carbonation is heavy and dances in your mouth. Very interesting style. More refreshing than I thought it would be. Good.

37.5cl bottle picked up in Delhaize, Ostend. Pours a slightly hazy orange brown with a fast-disappearing white head, tart lemony lambic aromas, crisp and lemony on the palate to start and with a brief but pleasing tartness, but then becoming very sweet and sugary, and leaving an unpleasant sugary residue in the mouth.

On draught at Poechenellekelder on 30 March 2011. Orangey colour with a very slight spritz. There’s some tart acidity here - apples and lemon - and an edge of sourness but it’s overlaid by a rather sticky sweetness. Which is, of course, what is intended (maybe not the stickiness) but it’s not really for me. This draught version is more palatable to me than the bottled but it’s still not really my thing. I just don’t find that sweetness and lambic character sit easily together on my palate.

Bright copper color. Taste is of a good ale with overtones of tart citrus, particularly lemon. Refreshing, easy drinking.

Bottle. Rating #632. Big copper dark amber pour with a quickly fading white head. Fruity aroma, kind of like an underripe apple, a little bitter. Dry and puckering, apple juice, light tartness mixed with the sweet, pretty interesting. (1608)

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Mixed fruit / cough mixture aroma. Medium brown colour with a reasonable head. Strong fruity flavour. Sweet aftertaste. Strong alcoholic mixed fruit juice.

Clear dark copper with a thin receding beige head. Aroma is very wine like with oak, wild yeast, green apple, notes of light candi sugar and light funk. Taste is a nice blend of sugar and funk with the wild yeast ringing true. Notes of apple, a bit of earth and oak, very tangy and mildly carbonated. Sweet and funky, a nice dessert beer with a bit of an attitude and tart to boot.
