COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s made from malt, wheat, hops, water, yeast. Candy sugar is added before the bottling takes place. It is a clear, light red colored faro lambic with a small, creamy head.

Bottle sample thanks to skinnyguy! Light brown pour, little carbonation and an aroma of slightly sweetened vinegar. Flavor is super sweet brown sugar, slick and lingering sweet malt on the aftertaste. Finally got the faro style rating, but I think it’s safe to say this isn’t a style I’d try to go back to again.

UPDATED: JAN 16, 2011 Bottle. Pour is amber in color and clear with a thin head that disapears quickly. Aroma comes off bitter sweet with some caramel and sour fruit. Taste was sweet and sour, but finished wanting more. Palate is thin and fizzy with a creamy dry finish.

Sampled at the Richmond Gather XIII. Clear golden pour with no head. Backsweetned and somewhat tart. But not what i expected at all. Definitely not a geueze.

(Sample Date: 1/15/2011 Source:Other) Earthy sugary aroma. Very clear dark golden with little head. Very sweet and earthy with a light sourness. Fruity but not really a specific fruit. Finish is quite sweet and earthy.

Bottle courtesy of MaltDawg or Kinz or Butters. Thanks whoever you are? Pours a clear copper with nearly no head. Aroma of tart notes with a lot of herbal earthy fungus going on. The taste is tart up front with a earthy, sugar finish. Medium bodied.

New Beer Distributors, NY 12oz ($5.50): Pours a reddish color with a white head. Tart, fruity aroma. Taste is really sour, especially towards the finish. Pretty sweet, definitely sweeter than the last lambic that I had.Very pleasant mouthfeel contracts your mouth, because of the intense sour taste. I like it, but I guess I like all lambics...

Bottle: Pours a clear copper color with a nice "small creamy head". The nose is nicely cobbwebby with some light tart notes but quite a bit sweet and malty. Big sweet cloying flavor with some nice chewy caramel notes. Subtle yeast and light tart notes in the finish. A little too straight laced for my tastes.
