COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s made from malt, wheat, hops, water, yeast. Candy sugar is added before the bottling takes place. It is a clear, light red colored faro lambic with a small, creamy head.

Yay, my 2nd Faro!! Bottle. Pours a clear light dirty orange with a thick off-white head and plenty of carbonation. Aroma of sweet sugars and sweet barley malt (basically it smells like the other Lindemans but without a particular fruit preponderance). Flavor is similar with sweet brown sugar and some crackery malt. Nice, sweet, and tasty. I just can’t get enough Faro! 7/4/8/4/15 [3.8/5]

Bottle. Aroma a little funky with light fruits and some pale malt. Flavor very sweet with tart edges. I have no basis for comparison, but on its own, a simple, refreshing drink for me.

Pours light brown lots of head which dissipates quickly. Nice sharp tart and sweet taste. Impressive beer from this trusted brewery.

375 ml bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized fizzy white head. The aroma is very sweet up front, some fruit notes, tart notes come through, not really what I was expecting. The flavor opens with a big sweetness, adds a combination of fruits (peach, apple), slight cherry tartness and a strange finish (creamed corn?). This was strange and apparently not my thing.

375 ml cork bottle in Germany. This is not really my type of beer at all but it was good. Pour is a ruby color. Some cherry funkiness going on, but I know the sweet will dominate from what I expect in a faro. Slightly tart up front, lots of sweetness midway through and finishes that way.

Poured from a 355ml bottle an orange reddish beer with very little head at all.. aroma is of green apple, sour cherry and dark fruits..very tart. Flavor is just as the aroma suggests of sour fruits and sweetness.. not a bad beer, actually rather good but could only drink one as it is so sweet.

Bottle. Pours clear amber/orange with a very small off white head. Aroma of acidic sourness, sugar, oak and light apple. The flavor is mostly sweet sugary apple with a very faint sour edge. Medium body with average carbonation and a sweet finish. Pretty good beer but very sweet, the aroma makes you think there might be some funk in here but the taste is all sugar.

Given how high I rated this, I probably shouldn’t think it could be easily confused with a cider. That being said, it’s an enjoyable beer. The burnt copper color was nice. The flavor was a nicely tart apple. The only negative thing that came to mind was it felt like it had a little to much carbonation.
