COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s made from malt, wheat, hops, water, yeast. Candy sugar is added before the bottling takes place. It is a clear, light red colored faro lambic with a small, creamy head.

The aroma is that of the light flavors of the Belgian candi sugar. It wouldbe cruel to compare the appearance to Cantillon’s Faro, this is clear red amber with a small head. The flavor is light-bodied with light sweet Belgian candi on the palate, a bit of fruity syrupy sweetness to end.

Aroma is sweet, a lot of muscovado sugar, fruit with peaches. Taste is similar as taste but with a very dry finnish.

Pours bright deep copper into a tumbler. White head with excellent retention leaves sheet lacing as it slowly recedes to coat surface. Sour orange, grapefruit, pineapple and apricot aromas. Viscous with upfront sweet and sour sauce turning to a sourpatch middle before the bitter ground pith in the lasting finish.

Sweet citrus aroma. Clear orange brown sock water. Glassy frothy head dissipates to thin ring around the glass edge. Light body, sweet and sour combo. Fizzy mouthfeel with sweet tart tang that makes you gleek. First opportunity to taste this style, not the last.

Finally get a Faro rating. Bottle. Amber pour, white head. Sweet artificial sugar, grain, light tartness, and fruit. Not very good, but I would expect anything better from Lindemans.

Bottle from Al’s in Harrisburg. Aroma is sour and yeasty. Amber body with thin lacing head. Flavor begins sweet and candied and turns to a sour finish. Lingering sour aftertaste. Very unique, a nice treat

330 ml bottle corked and capped. This past weekend I went to an estate sale in town where a woman donated her house and belongings to her church. I got there a bit after it had started, but it was still a gold mine. In addition to the fine books on botanical gardens, orchids etc I picked up, I found a lovely old blown glass decanter and six etched wine trumpet glasses from the early 1900’s. I am drinking a toast to this woman now out of her wine glass. Hope she enjoyed the angels share as much as I did. Intriguing acrid nose lingers slowly from glass and makes one initially wonder..."what the heck is this stuff?...Oh yes...wild yeast" Pours a dark amber with a steady yet thin central column of carbonation. I wonder if it is past its prime since the description states a "red". First taste is sweet...as much of the Lindemans line tends to be...nearly over sweet. Yet this turns the corner from the lightly caustic nose and ends up to be quite lovely in a sweet then tart viscous body manner.
