This is a beer for beginner. It is very light and not very tasty. A good beer to begin.
3.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 sailracer (190) - Massachusetts, USA - DEC 25, 2011
Bottle. Pours a medium brown with mild carbonation and a small head. The flavor is mildly sweet and sticky. Decent overall.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 frylock (1084) - Buffalo, New York, USA - DEC 25, 2011
Amber colored beneath a frothy white head. Musty cellar aroma, hints of sweet fruits. Sweet, but certainly not cloying. A little bit of green apple tartness with some faint peach and oak. Not much acidity to speak of. Not great, but a pleasant enough drink.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jzzbassman (1255) - New Albany, Mississippi, USA - DEC 15, 2011
Bottled. Pours a dark amber with a thin 2 finger head. Aroma of wood and sweet peach. Starts almost syrupy sweet, but quickly goes to a lemon like tart finish. Interesting.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 CaraCurtis (67) - USA - DEC 15, 2011
The aroma is not all that big. A tinge bit of fruitiness and maybe a little spice. It pours a clear plum color. There is no real lacing or head. Sticks to itself. It is much more sweet than sour. A bit too sweet for my liking.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 mrhoppy (599) - Santa Clara, California, USA - DEC 10, 2011
This is the base recipe they use for their fruit lambics. Very cider like. More for cooking than drinking. Way too sweet and one dimensional. The sugar sticks to your lips like cough syrup. Gets better as it warms. Slight plum flavor. Nice color. I added freshly pressed apple juice to mine.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 teddybeer (569) - Madrid, SPAIN - DEC 10, 2011
33cl botle. Brown colour with a beige head that at the beginning has good formation but quickly diminishes. Aroma is oakness, fruity and sweet. Flavour is fruity, where apples and cherries are present, with a final slightly bittery and dry. Carbonation is lively. Body is medium.
