It’s made from malt, wheat, hops, water, yeast. Candy sugar is added before the bottling takes place. It is a clear, light red colored faro lambic with a small, creamy head.

Pours a clear deep copper brown with two fingers of fluffy slightly off-white head compacting gradually to a persistent cap and heavy lacing. Nose is candi sugar, cherry, light funk and leather. Taste is sweet and fruity, with a little more sour cobwebby funk than is present in the nose, and some vinous oak. Mouth feel is medium-bodied with sustained moderate carbonation and an off-dry finish. This is nice. Much sweeter and milder than a gueuze, very similar to a cherry lambic but with more brown sugar and less cherry. The sweetness makes smaller servings appropriate - this would be a very decent dessert beer.

0,25l bottle. Hazy copper color with quickly disappearing head. Aroma is acidic, sugary, barrel and vinous. Taste is sweet with nicely balanced sourness along with barrel and vinous notes. Average carbonation. It’s quite refreshing and balanced beer.

Flaska från Belgianbeerz.com mörkt bärnstensfärgad vätska med vitt skum som lägger sig relativt fort. Doftar sur cider. Väldigt söt fruktdricka med en svag belgisk ton. För söt men helt ok.

Bottle 37,5cl, cork topped by a crown cap. Clear orange amber color, one finger frothy white head, reduces slowly to a couple of millimeters thick persistant layer, nice lacing; sour and sweet nose, candy flavour, cherries, granny smith, yeast; first tarty sweet and sour taste, followed by more natural fruity sweetness; light to medium body, sticky texture, lively carbonation; soft well-balanced sweet and sour finish. I like it.

Appearance: this beer pours with a medium beige head, the beer is a very nice ruby color, seems clear but kind of dark to tell Aroma: cherry, sweet, grain, creamy, a bit faint but seems complex Taste: cherry, a strong sweetness throughout, some tart, tangy, Palate: has a thick mouthfeel, leaves mouth wet, minimal aftertaste, Overall: kind of reminds me of a very sweet red wine, it’s a good beer but not something I would go for very often
