It’s made from malt, wheat, hops, water, yeast. Candy sugar is added before the bottling takes place. It is a clear, light red colored faro lambic with a small, creamy head.

Sweet and sour. A little funk, brown sugar, and even a faint strawberry taste. I like it.

Keg at Ox184. Pours clear brown, no head. Nose is sweet and sour, brown sugar, dried fruits. Taste is also sweet and sour, actually really sweet, but tasty. Very tart as well. Brown sugar. In a way its very straightforward but I like how its both very sour and very sweet.

Gylden brun klar med lavt hvitt skum. Lukter bæreddik og lett trevirke. Sukkersøt smak, bær og eplesødme, tydelig syrlighet. Syrligheten sitter lenge. Noe stikky

(bottle) hazy deep golden-amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of bretty funk, caramel and melted butter, heavy vanilla, some cherry stones, oily fries and earth. flavour is rather sweet and tart, with some rather prominent bretty funk, more vanilla, earth and apricots. medium-bodied with average carbonation. surprisingly good.

Draft at The Flying Saucer in San Antonio. The aroma is incredibly sweet with a boatload of sugar, a touch of raspberry, heavy green apple, pungent alfalfa, and a bit of yeasty barnyard funk. Pours deep caramel with a thick and fizzy head. Not surprisingly, the taste is also quite sweet (but not cloying) with candi sugar, honey, a light cherry tone, some golden raisin, slight vinegar, and a minor grassy note at the finish. It reminds be vaguely of drinking some apple vinegar with a ton of sugar in it. Light and refreshing body with a minor puckering texture. From previous experience with Lindemans, I didn’t expect much from this beer, but its drinkability was a nice surprise, though I find it too touch to enjoy on a regular basis.

2015/04/22 - Pours a dirty amber-brown colour with an off white head that quickly vanishes without lacing. Aroma is sweet; sugar, honey, apples, hay , dark fruits, barnyard, Brett and a touch of vinegar. Taste is predominantly sweet with a mildly sour finish; apples, hay barnyard, vinegar, cherry, honey, sugar and hints of wood. Mouthfeel is a touch syrupy, with average carbonation and a sweet, acidic and mildly tart finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
