3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a brown sugar brown with a one inch head. Smells strongly of sour yeasts. Taste is sweet. Medium carbonation and light body. Tastes a lot like Duchesse De Bourgenne without the malt vinegar intensity.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
250 ml bottle shared with the metallurgist. Reddish amber with thin off white head. Aroma is sour, earth, dark ripe fruit, dark sugar and some malty sweetness. Taste is at first aggressively sour but is quickly balanced by various sweet notes, malt and dark fruit mainly. Very pleasant at first but the last half of the bottle is too sweet.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a brownish amber, with no head. Aroma of tart apples, bit of cheese, and "ferment-y" (?) malt. Taste is tart and sweet, only slight bitterness. Finish is short. Sticky mouthfeel. Nothing to write home about for a lambic, or maybe just not a fan of the Faro style.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle (355ml): Amber brown. Clear, Medium to light head. Sour aromatics. Obviously bacterial or bretty. Funky, mouldy apple, candy apple & malt. Sweet, Sour and moderate bitterness. Almost phenolic. Feels moderately to highly carbonated with fine bead. Candy and decaying apples. Hint of caramel. Medium weight and length.
To funky and manufactured for me. Lacks the balance and class of the Framboise.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
25cl bottle. Rose pink coloured, thin white head disappears completely quickly. Sour, earthy, yeasty nose, some sugary summer fruit notes too. Nose drifts between attractive and offensive. Flavour is sweet up front - really sweet. Strawberry notes, some cherry too. Thereís some sourness to follow, sour apple notes here. Light and very fizzy. Finish is yeasty, estery, sweet and sour. Areal roller coaster this and a great example of an out there beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
BB 2015, 0,375 bottle. Appearance dark amber with white head. Head stays for a moment . Aroma of cherries, hints of berries, promise of sourness and sweetness, also noticable aroma of acidity. Medium carbonation. Taste is strongly sour and sweet with bitterness in the background, but there is also distracting watery taste present. Finish is sour with watery taste. Overall: generally I like sweeter lambics, but this isnít as great as I expected. Still it goes down well, and that deserves always a couple of extra points.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
From the bottle marked L-H10JFA. It pours amber-copper with some yellow hues around the edge of the glass. A modest head. Cherry fruit tends to be the leader of aroma with some roasted malts but nothing in the way of wheat. Light to medium body. Again, like the nose, the cherry character kicks in but unlike the nose it ends on the tart side.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 6/20
I am a fan of Lambic in general but it turns out I am not a fan of Faro. Funk comes through in the nose with a sweetness to boot. Flavor is lambic funk in the background with a sweetness cutting through the funk. A little to sweet for me.
