It’s made from malt, wheat, hops, water, yeast. Candy sugar is added before the bottling takes place. It is a clear, light red colored faro lambic with a small, creamy head.

Pours a copper brown color with a finger of offwhite foam...aromas smells cheap and sugary, caramel, cream soda with a touch of vinous moscato... On the palate it is a lot of the same, ripe apples add to the mix but the caramel sweetness just over powers the sour funky notes making it more like a fruit juice spritzer.. curious to try other faro lambics to see how they compare.

Draft at The Flying Saucer in San Antonio. The aroma is incredibly sweet with a boatload of sugar, a touch of raspberry, heavy green apple, pungent alfalfa, and a bit of yeasty barnyard funk. Pours deep caramel with a thick and fizzy head. Not surprisingly, the taste is also quite sweet (but not cloying) with candi sugar, honey, a light cherry tone, some golden raisin, slight vinegar, and a minor grassy note at the finish. It reminds be vaguely of drinking some apple vinegar with a ton of sugar in it. Light and refreshing body with a minor puckering texture. From previous experience with Lindemans, I didn’t expect much from this beer, but its drinkability was a nice surprise, though I find it too touch to enjoy on a regular basis.

2015/04/22 - Pours a dirty amber-brown colour with an off white head that quickly vanishes without lacing. Aroma is sweet; sugar, honey, apples, hay , dark fruits, barnyard, Brett and a touch of vinegar. Taste is predominantly sweet with a mildly sour finish; apples, hay barnyard, vinegar, cherry, honey, sugar and hints of wood. Mouthfeel is a touch syrupy, with average carbonation and a sweet, acidic and mildly tart finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Review based on the BJCP2208 guidelines (style 17D/17E, adapted). Bottle 25 cl - Batch GA220FA021454. AROMA: complex brett aromas with notes of goat, horse and barnyard, balanced with a moderate sour/acidic aroma. no hop aromas. APPEARANCE: dark gold color (dark orange) and slightly hazy, with a thin ivory head with poor retention (lambic). TASTE: very sweet flavour that masks the brett characteristics, giving them only a faint character. bitterness absent with a sweet finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium-low carbnation. OVERALL: a faro-style lambic wich is very sweet and can be a good entry point to the lambic/gueuze world.

Pink amber hue with no head. Nose is composed of sweet caramel, sweet fruity notes and a tiny bit rubbery. Flavour is honey like with sweet fruits, slightest tartness and wood. First faro for me, not really an instant favorite, but alright. Too sweet for me.

0.375 bottle. Hazy, dark amber color and a small, white head. Sweet and sour fruity aroma with hints of candy and some unfortunate metal. Taste is really sweet: candy, fruits, honey, sugar, sour fruits as well. Medium body, slick texture, and lively carbonation. Finish is also sweet and very fruity. Overall this is my first faro, and although I do not have a developed taste for it I certainly enjoyed this one.

25 cl. bottle poured in to a Flute. Hazy, copper colour with a golden hue. Fluffy, white head. Slightly tart aroma with dusty hops, light barnyard, candid sugar, wooden notes, tart fruits - apples. Taste is lightly sour. Medium body with a creamy texture and a lively carbonation. Finishes dry and lightly sour - well balanced with candid sugar/acidic notes. Nice Faro Lambic - a good start in to the world of Lambics.
