Amber color. Prickly acetic nose in the beginning; turns to be sweeter and woodier. Quite sweet body, with a wood note. Not impressive, but pleasant sweet drink.

Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate sour. Flavor is quite sweet, moderate sour and moderate acidic. Dry and moderate acidic finish. Gets a little sugary, but all in all a nice faro. 100811

Nose has sour tones, peach, grapes, light caramel, burnt sugar, sour/tarte notes. Taste follows, light fruit notes, orange pith, caramel, sugared candy, sour tones. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, leading to a sweet finihs, A little to sweet overall!

Test vom 8.12.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,8,10,9,10,9 - 9,05

Bottled, 0.25ltr. Golden, with some sediments and no head. Light aroma with both sourness and sugar. Quite fruity, with apples most pronounced. A good deal of sugar in the flavor, with some acidic astringency and some orange-notes. Sweet, sticky, full-bodied mouthfeel. Refreshing in the summer-heat, with green apples in the finish. (060704)

Dark amber color, not much head. Sourish peach nose. Suprisingly peach dominates also flavor. Typical faro - very sugary, but this one has very pleasant acidic finish. Fruity aftertaste. As good as a faro can get!

A: The pour is a clear amber color with an intense levely of carbonation but surprisingly little in terms of head. S: The nose is very musty with some odd notes of cork and bread. There is quite a bit of sugary sweetness as well, but I expected that. T: Wow, I was really surprised by the flavor of this. The intense sweetness was the first thing I noticed as this beer is very sugary. There’s also a hint of fruit and for some reason, a bile note on the back end. M: The body was medium with a very high level of carbonation and despite being sweetened, still has a certain level of dryness. D: This beer is really all over the place. I was not at all surprised by the intense sugary character, but the vomit flavor really seemed out of place.
