It’s made from malt, wheat, hops, water, yeast. Candy sugar is added before the bottling takes place. It is a clear, light red colored faro lambic with a small, creamy head.

Bottle. 375ml. Pours clear brown, with almost no head. Aroma is sour, apples. The taste is first acidic, then evoluates to sweet, under the supervision of apples. A little bit of funk from lambic. Weird style. Nice balance. Maybe a little too heavy on the candy.

UPDATED: JAN 23, 2012 Bottle from beerboxer. Smells like vinigar. Slight taste of vinigar then a sweet finish. Color is amber.. Reminds me of dying easter eggs.

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2012 Nose is winey, earthy with hints of raisin and wood. Clear, light reddish brown in color. It is briny, fruity, bittersweet with notes of apricots, pear, apples, and grapes. It has fruit pit tones and mild caramel maltiness, but dry. Tart, dry, and drinkable on the finish; nice bitterness. Thin palate helps amilerate the sour notes aiding consumption. Overall, pleasant sour character; strong but clean finish. A fruity sour joy to drink, but not great for having more than one of. Truly enjoyed the brew and it was far more complex than I was expecting, yet it didn’t come together as well as I would have liked.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2005 #1@basen. Brown beerlike colour. Notes of some kind of acid (hydrochloric acid I think). Long, creamy and sweet aftertaste. Perfect on a hot sunny day. Gotta get a few more of these..

Bottle. Pours clear slightly reddish amber with a medium head that dissipates down to a small head quickly with no lacing. Highly carbonated. Aroma is primarily of sour apple and Belgian yeast, slightly sweet. Taste mimics nose, with definite sweetness mixed with sour apples, Belgian yeast and perhaps a bit of malt. Surprisingly crisp clean finish given the sweetness. A very tasty beer.

From the bottle poured a lovely reddish brew with a white head that deflated rapidly. Aromas of sour and malt. Wonderful flavors of fruit with a little sweet/sour thingy going on. Medium bodied, complex, and tasty.

Bottle courtesy of llcooldave. Pours amber with fluffy head. Aroma is allspice/cinnamon and apple juice with a little skunky weirdness. Lightly carbonated, Very sweet and reminds me of sparkling apple juice or very sweet champagne. Tangy apple candy. Dry finish, Leaves lips sticky.

Poured from a 355ml bottle an orange reddish beer with very little head at all.. aroma is of green apple, sour cherry and dark fruits..very tart. Flavor is just as the aroma suggests of sour fruits and sweetness.. not a bad beer, actually rather good but could only drink one as it is so sweet.

Bottle into Lindemans flute. Pours a ruddy amber with a small, bubbly white head that disappears within a minute. The aroma is sweet with sugar, grapes, and pear. The taste is more sweet than tart with similar flavors as the aroma. Not much of a presence on the palate; it’s light and short-lived. Not bad, but lacks any truly discernible merits.
