It’s made from malt, wheat, hops, water, yeast. Candy sugar is added before the bottling takes place. It is a clear, light red colored faro lambic with a small, creamy head.

UPDATED: APR 15, 2010 Bottle. A - Clear, and light tawny amber with some orange and red hues. Very thin light beige head with little retention and no lacing left over. S - Funky, tart and sour make up most of the smell. Also has a bit of a sweet smell in the background. Reminds me a bit of an Oud Bruin only sweeter, the combination of the sour/tart and the funk. T - Starts out with sour apple and lemon as well as tart cherry and raspberry taste. Then, quickly, the sweetness comes into play along with those taste. It goes from being a sour/tart beer to something more like a cider or a strong fruit juice. The sweetness also brings a bit more of a strawberry taste out. There is a slight funky background, but the yeast flavors are well covered. M - Medium to light body with low carbonation. Slight puckering with a mouthwatering finish. Also a bit sticky/coating in the mouth. D - Quite drinkable. Provides some tart and sour flavors, but they are very strong due to the sweetness. That sweetness and the coating mouthfeel might prevent drinkability, depending on your mood. Notes: Pretty good beer. A little too sweet, especially with the coating/sticky feel, for me. However if I were in the mood for something sour and tart but didn’t want it to be too sour and tart, this would really fit the bill. Nice mouthwatering and refreshing cycle goes with this. Not a bad beer, and definitely worth trying, and has a niche it fills. Also may be a good way to start people off on sours, since the sugar makes the sour taste less powerful.

Pours amber with a thin white head. Aroma is....odd i honestly can’t think of how to describe it, i think its mostly the candi sugar , smells sweet. Taste is very sweet, but not cloying, it starts tart at first but then thr sweet almost cola like flavor comes in Good brew, but hard to describe.

BB 2015, 0,375 bottle. Appearance dark amber with white head. Head stays for a moment . Aroma of cherries, hints of berries, promise of sourness and sweetness, also noticable aroma of acidity. Medium carbonation. Taste is strongly sour and sweet with bitterness in the background, but there is also distracting watery taste present. Finish is sour with watery taste. Overall: generally I like sweeter lambics, but this isn’t as great as I expected. Still it goes down well, and that deserves always a couple of extra points.

An off-white head (that stayed present for a while) and a caramel red body. The aroma is spicy, sweet, and yeasty. The flavor is sugar-sweet without being overwhelming, and the yeast, malt, and spices are present too, almost giving the flavor a dessert bread-like quality. I don’t normally care for lambics, but this is one I could drink on occasion. Very interesting.

Bu en pression en 25cl, une bière d’une couleur très ambrée, très sucre candy, peu de mousse. En bouche on a l’impression de sentir que de la pomme pas désagréable mais trop sucrée.

Solid lambic. I wasn’t a fan of the aroma as much as the flavor. The aftertaste is amazing. Very carbonated, sugary and sweet on the tongue.

Beaucoup mais alors beaucoup trop sucrée. Quelques touches de fleurs au nez mais le sucre ultra présent gâche tout pour moi. Cela dit, c'est une bière facile à appréhender pour les non amateurs.

Amber colour with no head. Very sweet though not cloyingly, slight sourness, cherries, amaretto liqueur, pear juice concentrate and a very slight funkiness. Great to enjoy in small amounts with a dessert or just on it’s own.

0.25l bottle. Dark orange/light brown body with floating yeast particles, very quickly disappearing off-white head. Sour apple aroma with a champage-like yeast character and a hint of caramel. Tastes like candi sugar, caramel and lemon. Very nice.

Deep rich honey colour. Sweet fermented aroma. I really really liked this beverage.
