Itís made from malt, wheat, hops, water, yeast. Candy sugar is added before the bottling takes place. It is a clear, light red colored faro lambic with a small, creamy head.

Bottle. Clear golden amber pour with a small off-white head that quickly disappears. Aroma is malty and tart with notes of caramel, apples, wood and vinegar. The flavour is quite tart also but with a fair amount of sweetness, with notes of toffee, apples, pears, grapes, vinegar and wood. Dry mouthfeel with moderate carbonation and a lingering tart, mildly bitter finish. This being my first Faro I donít have much to compare it to, but overall this is quite nice; however the sweetness would probably get to be a bit much in large quantities.

[Bottle] shared by skyview. Pours a hazy gold with a small effervescent head. Aroma is sweet, slightly tart, some vanilla, and not a whole lot of funk. Flavor is sweet and sugary, slightly tart, some vanilla, and a quick finish.

This pours a beautiful semi-clear, copper color with a bubbly, off-white head. The scent is yeasty combined with aged, sweet fruits. There is a sweetness of candied sugar that is like no other. Very smooth, tasty, and unique. Style points aside, this is quite a delicious desert beer that is best enjoyed by itself after dinner, in my opinion. By far the easiest Lambic-Faro to find on the market!

Bottle to glass. Pours a mostly clear amber ruby color with a light tan head. Aroma is mostly sweet berries, very mild tartness. Flavor has a big sweetness, touch of sour berries, but not much. Light to medium in body with a long lingering sweetness. Tasty. Quite sweet.

Pours a light darker red with orange hues producing a foamy head with light carbonation. Aromas of wood/oak, sour apple, honey, cork, and slight cherry. Flavors of sour/spicy apple, slight cherry, honey, oak/wood, and light cork. Medium to high sweetness, crisp, slightly sour, clean finish with almost no aftertaste. Wow my first faro lambic. I enjoy the sweetness here and like this style better than the other lambic styles. Taste like an aged lambic but with a dominant sweetness (the only real taste difference).

Bottle, thanks to WeeHeavySD for sharing it! Pours a clear dark reddish-amber with a big bubbly white head. Very sharp / tart aroma, of fruit, malt, yeast, and sugar. Taste is sweet and sharp, lots of sugar, with malt, plums, and berries. Lingering sharp sweetness. Tasty.

A incredibly interesting lambic, general fruity scent that leads into a tart but smooth caramel body, bitter after flavor but agreeable with a little bite.

Darker than I expected. Amber color, expected lighter. Aroma of lactic sour and slight sugary sweetness. Taste is lactic sour with a sugary sweetness and almost some oaky woody flavors. Almost tastes like wet wood though, think that is the sugar with the lambic. Odd style. I like the geuze or fruit lambic better. Low carbonation. Sour is maybe 3 of 10 sour. And too sweet, maybe not even as sweet as some fruit lambics, but sugary sweet is weird. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle @ home. Gustosa, acisa e dolce contemporaneamente con schiuma cremosa e corpo soffice. Un pelo astringente sul finale ma ben bilanciato dalla dolcezza generale.

Clear amber pour, white head. Aromas of candi sugar, and barnyard funk. Flavour is the same, on the sweet side. Okay.
