A incredibly interesting lambic, general fruity scent that leads into a tart but smooth caramel body, bitter after flavor but agreeable with a little bite.

nice beverage-- it shows how extensive the beer family can be, this scarcely seems like a beer at all-- there are few of the usual signposts indicating much in the way of malt or hops. one would guess this one is a relative only by marriage: brewing yeasts and some vague malt foundation wedded to dark fruits in sweet noble rot. it's a soft orange pour-- between tiger fur and apricot pastel yellow. there's a nice decoration of ice-white lace like sinuous veins in marble. rich aroma of cherrys, cedar, noga-hide upholstery, and some perfumes common to ladies bath soaps. i searched hard for the "barnyard" aromas, but found only the dried-flower smell of hay-- no horses or goats. extremely sippable, the 25cl bottle is an adequate serving size. is it sweet? duh, yeah, does michael jackson own a bottle opener? yeah, it's way sweet. cherries and apples with a very tart cranberry finish. lightly sour, acidic as a car battery, very soft creamy palette. the finish is all cranberry-lemon, which may accord with breakfast fare: pastries and waffles. contains no buzz that i could desern: this is suitable for children, pooh bears and sweat bees-- and perhaps the serious beer hunter searching for the outer boundaries of what we call beer.

Bottle from mchughs. Pours light red with no head. Aroma is candy floss, sour apple, hints of vinegar. Flavour is sweet caramel sugar with a sour apple aftertaste. Toffee apple. Needs more sour, style is very sweet. Not mad on this style.

Amber with a low head. Sugary and dry aroma and flavour like an Asti with a bit of nuts and wood. The perfect beer for too much summer heat.

12 oz. bottle from Wilburís. Appearance: slight white head, amber copper color, clear, light lacing, head does not last. Aroma: grapes, oak, leather, prune, awesome yeastiness. Palate: light body, light carbonation, sticky fruit texture, sticky dry finish. Taste: very pleasant sweet fruit, into a malty, overripe fruit taste that balances the sweetness. very slight bitterness. Overall, very pleasant, maybe a bit too sweet, but pleasant.

Bottle. Sour lambic aroma with some sweetness present. Flavour is an abomination - far too sweet with unpleasant earthy elements. I couldnít finish the bottle.

Bottle split with mcberko. Pours a clear orange/mahogany with a fine white lacing. Aroma of soured fruits, funk, some apple, candied sugar. Flavour is lightly sour, some creamy cheese, apple, candied sugar, and some funk. A lot smoother texture than I was expecting - not as sour. Dry mouth feel, and quite a lot of sweetness, but not cloying, which moderates the sour. Nice.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours light purple with a white head and a rich fruity smell. Flavor is sweet, a bit too sweet but the finish makes up for it. The finish is rich, with sweet, sour and spicey notes. Very good.
