It’s made from malt, wheat, hops, water, yeast. Candy sugar is added before the bottling takes place. It is a clear, light red colored faro lambic with a small, creamy head.

Hazy dark golden, small firm pale head. Mildly sour aroma, with old apples, little funk, wood and sugar. Flavor starts with lambic sourness, wood and dried fruitiness. Finishes candi sugary sweet. Quite pleasant actually, most of its lambic characters are still there. Sweet, but not overly so.

I didn’t expect the sweetness, noting that more than the sourness behind it. Color was nice, a good red/brown, and the palate was like a bizarre lemonade. A good intro lambic.

Ambrée un rien trouble, pétillance aussi fine que son col. Dominance aigre-douce, goût de cidre de pommes légèrement caramélisées, notes de citron, raisins et cerises, mini-amertume en arrière-bouche, un rien trop sucrée.

Bottle, poured into a flute. Pours a light clear reddish in color with a pure white head. The aroma is light and fruity, light notes of spice. The flavor is clean, crisp, slightly yeasty with lots of malty sweetness. The finish is almost clean, lightly cloying.

Very Amber sugary color. The smell is nicely sourish and smells like brett. The taste is lightly sourish and quite sweet. I still don’t like the waste of perfectly good lambic just to add sugar, but I still like it.

0.25l bottle. Dark orange/light brown body with floating yeast particles, very quickly disappearing off-white head. Sour apple aroma with a champage-like yeast character and a hint of caramel. Tastes like candi sugar, caramel and lemon. Very nice.

Flaske.

12 oz. Bottle. Pours orange-amber with a small, short lived, off-white head and Champaign like carbonation. Aroma is of yeast, malt, brown sugar and barnyard. Full, tangy body. Taste is sweet malt, brown sugar and sour grapes. This brew could be a good substitute for Champaign.
