COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s made from malt, wheat, hops, water, yeast. Candy sugar is added before the bottling takes place. It is a clear, light red colored faro lambic with a small, creamy head.

A incredibly interesting lambic, general fruity scent that leads into a tart but smooth caramel body, bitter after flavor but agreeable with a little bite.

Yay... my final style, picked this up at the Beer Ritz in York, England. Nice golden-brown body with a very thin white head. Great sourdough-bread aroma, nice and tart. A very tart and sweet flavor, ending with almost a pure caramel-sugar tang, maybe some sour apple showing up as well. Basically a normal gueuze with more sugar than normal.

37,5 cl bottle Deep copper colour, perfect head which leaves a smooth small bubbled layer til the end. gorgeous smooth vinegar nose. i cant help it, i really like faro lambics, even though i always feel a bit cheated since its just lambic with sugar. But even i am not always in the mood for full on vinegar. But i have to say its not the best, and generally draught versions are a lot better. Still very yummy though xxx

Bottle from mchughs. Pours light red with no head. Aroma is candy floss, sour apple, hints of vinegar. Flavour is sweet caramel sugar with a sour apple aftertaste. Toffee apple. Needs more sour, style is very sweet. Not mad on this style.

Darker than I expected. Amber color, expected lighter. Aroma of lactic sour and slight sugary sweetness. Taste is lactic sour with a sugary sweetness and almost some oaky woody flavors. Almost tastes like wet wood though, think that is the sugar with the lambic. Odd style. I like the geuze or fruit lambic better. Low carbonation. Sour is maybe 3 of 10 sour. And too sweet, maybe not even as sweet as some fruit lambics, but sugary sweet is weird. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle @ home. Gustosa, acisa e dolce contemporaneamente con schiuma cremosa e corpo soffice. Un pelo astringente sul finale ma ben bilanciato dalla dolcezza generale.

Faro purchased at Olive Tree Market in OB. Last one. Sweet aroma and taste. Not very sour which was only what I expected. Haven’t had many in this style. Still it was good and I enjoyed it.

Found this at GE Market District-certainly the easiest to find brew of the style and my first. A- Body is a completely transparent slightly dark caramel hue. Pours with <1/2 finger foamy white head that eventually fades to a thin collar with no lacing left behind in the glass. S- Nose is of moderate strength and offers a good bit of funk-cheesecloth, a hint of vinegar, and a sugary sweetness-that seems to be more of regular sweetness than belgian candi sugar T-Taste is much stronger than the smell. The initial flavor of of juicy white grapes, a very mild accent of vinegar, and a hint of cheese. The finish adds a lot of sweetness-almost cloyingly so- to the flavors already described. What lingers is a mild combination of everything described. M- medium to high clarbonation and a medium weight quite juicy body initially with a slightly dry finish. D- This is an interesting brew overall. My first of the style-and I dont really depend on Lindemans to demonstrate the best example-but I have a good idea of what its about. The flavor profile is slightly gueze-like but has a much lighter character and is much sweeter. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 11-07-2010 22:53:15

Flaske.
