3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
It pours a light amber with a good deal of off white head. It has a sweet and sour smell with a fair amount of yeast present. The sweet sugar taste is bold with a sour tart finish. There are yeast and malts present, but the sweetness of the sugar is dominant.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
25cl bottle. Rose pink coloured, thin white head disappears completely quickly. Sour, earthy, yeasty nose, some sugary summer fruit notes too. Nose drifts between attractive and offensive. Flavour is sweet up front - really sweet. Strawberry notes, some cherry too. There’s some sourness to follow, sour apple notes here. Light and very fizzy. Finish is yeasty, estery, sweet and sour. Areal roller coaster this and a great example of an out there beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This was my first Faro Lambic. It still has the characteristic lambic sourness, but is tempered by the added sugar so its a balanced sourness. I liked it for its uniqueness.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
375ml bottle. Pours a clear dark amber, with a large white head, which lasts fairly well, and leaves reasonable lacing. The aroma is a mix of sour, musty, woody and faint leathery notes. It opens with a nice, strong sourness, with perhaps some redcurrant flavour playing through it. The influence of the candy sugar can be felt moving into the mid-palate, which offers some sweetness along with some woody notes. The sour flavour and slight redcurrant notes reappear towards the finish, which is a deft balance between sour and sweet. This is the first non-fruit lambic I have been able to lay my hands on, and it is not disappointing - it certainly lives up to my expectations.

Aroma is sweet syrupy cherry as well as touch of barnyard funkiness. Light golden color, thick creamy white head. Light earthy and dusty aroma. Flavor is lightly sweet, honeyish and quite earthy with a bit of fruitiness as well. Tartness appears underneath the obvious sweetness. Long Lingering earthy finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Flaske.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Amber beer w/ a short lived off white, thin head. Lightly tart and sugary aroma w/ a touch of buttery barnyard. A touch of breadiness from malt. Flavor is balanced to sweet w/ a candi sugar toasty malt flavor. Light fruitiness and a touch of barnyard again. The finish is sweet up front, but dry and sugary at the aftertaste. The more lingering aftertaste is a lightly barnyardy funk. Creamy mouthfeel, lighter body and high level of carbonation. I’m not sure what to make of this one. I’m not all that hip on lambics due to their sourness, and this one has barely any, but I’m still not really fond of it. I’m not sure I’d drink more than one of these at any given time, and there’d be time between those.
