looks like a cherryless kriek, which i guess it is to all i’s and p’s. flat, red-brown. smells sorta cheesy, tastes pretty tame and sweet with a tiny bit of blood and scabs that mr exp likes. our bottle might’ve been an old one - i think yer sposter drink these fresh.

(on bottle)entering my first faro; I don´t know what to expect. Sent is kind of artiftcial; some cherry-vinegar, but mostly a kind of mintish feel. Very well carbonated and a totally different taste tha aroma. Sweet at first, but broadens out to a more winerous, lip-culing fullness. Still, very sweet.

First Faro.....pours out a nice copper color with a small lacing off white head. Aroma is of some funk, sugar and cough syrup. Taste is of over-sweetened iced tea, some funky tart notes, earth and more sugar. Odd style that didn’t really hit the spot.

Being my first time with a Faro, how do you rate it? What’s it supposed to taste/smell like? I haven’t really a clue, so I will just rate on whether or not I liked it. Aroma was sweet, plastic, boozy, fake fruit, and caramel. Flavor is a nice sour/sweet combo with a sugary finish (heavy on the sugary side). Not bad. Don’t know how it compares to something better or worse, so for now I will just consider it average.

375ml bottle pours a totally clear, copper amber with a creamy, white head. Honestly, the nose is like smelling a batch of Coors Light with brett. Nose is also apples, cooked corn, vegetables, grass, pilsner malt. Flavor is sweet, apple juice, barbeque sauce, apple juice, grass, light lemon peel. Medium bodied. I didn’t get this at all. Too sweet, no funk, no faro. Weird.

Bottle courtesy of MaltDawg or Kinz or Butters. Thanks whoever you are? Pours a clear copper with nearly no head. Aroma of tart notes with a lot of herbal earthy fungus going on. The taste is tart up front with a earthy, sugar finish. Medium bodied.

bottle 250 ml from CM Sello EXP 06 Sep 10 light brown creamy white head. Scent:candy sweet Taste: very candy sugary kick at first dash of green apple sweet malts in the middle then dash of sourness in aftertaste. Ten years ago when I was a rookie in tasting I loved this kind of beers. No any more.

Poured from a bottle. This is just an odd beer. A bit sour, but the foot influence is too much for me. I can’t say I would want to try this again.

A pretty sweet beer and also sour. Aroma is flowery. Color is light brown with a white head.

Una cerveza lampic sobrendende , dulce von sabor a toffe y toques de vino tinto ! Espuma ligera que desaparece pronto.
