3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from the bottle into a Duvel tulip. Clear amber-brown with a large fizzy white head. The head resembles that of soda - fast audible bubbles that quickly recedes to nothingness. Smells lightly of traditional lambic barnyard with some vinegar and sweetness. The flavor is mildly sour masked by sweetness with a fruitiness, slightly earthy/funky , some wheat, and a touch of vinegar as well. Medium-low carbonation cleanses the sweetness from the palate. Even though I would call the body medium it is much fuller than every other lambic I have had. I was fully prepared to hate this just because it was from Lindemans but I was pleasantly surprised. Would make a nice starter sour as well.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Almost champagne-like. Really bold sweetness and tartness. If the social tensions of Thanksgiving dinner were a beer, it would be this.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
375 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 11/25/2012. Pours fairly crystal clear deep orange/copper color with a 2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of green apple, cherry, strawberry, peach, pear, hay, straw, grass, candi sugar, light vinegar, light musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/funky yeast and candi sugar sweetness; with solid strength. Taste of green apple, cherry, strawberry, peach, pear, hay, straw, grass, candi sugar, light vinegar, light musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Light fruity/earthy tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of green apple, cherry, strawberry, peach, pear, candi sugar, hay, straw, grass, light vinegar/funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and balance of fruity/funky yeast and candi sugar sweetness; with a nice malt/yeast flavor balance and zero cloying sweetness and after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth and fairly creamy/syrupy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with no warming present after the finish as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a very nice Faro Lambic style. All around good complexity and balance of fruity/funky yeast and candi sugar sweetness; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Carrefour, Nice. Golden-brown, no head. Quite a tough little cork to get out of the bottle too. Has a sugary-fruit nose, but this is much more stated when drank and has quite a soured aftertaste.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle pour. Pours a black cherry color. Aroma is a sour fruit, mostly cherry. Super sweet beer here. Mostly a cherry flavor with a bit of berry to it. Super fruity. This one seems to get sweeter and sweeter through the finish. Overall, a decent tasting beer. New to this style so I can’t necessarily call it unique yet, but it’s different to me for sure. Enjoyed this beer.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle to goblet
Aroma of brown sugar, overripe apple, lemon peel, cinnamon, and toffee. Pours a clear dark amber with a 2 cm off white head that soon reduces to a thin ring. Taste is cloyingly sweet frim the front, but quickly fading into the expected sourness. Notes of apple, biscuit, and lemon throughout. Enjoyable, but too sweet initially.
