3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
I really liked it, been seeking this style for awhile also. Yeasty, notes of cherry and strawberry... Sweet and sugary, also like a hef, and a bit sour as well though it should not make anybody pucker.

I was standing at Alís of Hampden trying to decide what to get to drink when he told me I should just get one of these because he was trying to kick the keg. I was not expecting a full pint of it but oh well here we go....
A - Pours murky brownish orange with a small half finger tall white head leaving very little lace down the glass.
S - Smells of musty basement funk, lots of sweetness, and some light salt air. Some light fruity aromaís are present as well but I canít really detect what they are through all the other things going on.
T - Starts off with lots of candied sugar sweetness slowly giving way to a mix of light fruit, dulled tartness, and even more sweetness. Some mineral like qualities creep in toward the end but the sweetness drowns them out quickly. The finish is, you guessed it, more sweetness with some light funk, lingering on the pallet for some time.
M - Medium body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Sweet, slightly funk, feel that stays on the pallet for some time after consumption.
O - I had trouble finishing this glass. I have had a few faroís before but for some reason this one really got to me. I wonít be getting this one again any time soon.

Bottle@home. Amber quite clear. Small head. Low carbonation. Sweet moldy notes. Not pleasant. Not a noble infection. Very sweet. Fruity rotten sour taste. I wonder if it is representativ for their brews.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
0.375L bottle. Pours clear amber with a froth off-white head that lingers. Really interesting and unique aroma of sweet-sour cherry (almost like sweet tarts), some basement aromas, . Fairly sweet up front . Transitions to sweet-sour fruit flavors including apple and cherry. Finishes with long, dry sour flavors with some chalkiness on the tongue, similar to a cider almost. Full body with a thick mouthfeel and mild carbonation. Overall, sits on the sweeter side, and doesnít have an overly complex flavor profile. A decent desert beer.

pale amber brown, fluffy cream head. Sweet sour apple nose. Full bodied barnyard rotting hay juxtaposition against sweet Citric tartness. A small quantity more than sufficient.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
From corked bottle. Light clear dark reddish color. Aroma is lollipop, sweet funk, and orange gummi candies. Taste is dank tart sourness, sweet candi sugar, prune, toffee, and a hint of bitterness. Quite sweet, but the dank funky tart character pairs well with that. My first beer of this style, and I really enjoy it.
