I really liked it, been seeking this style for awhile also. Yeasty, notes of cherry and strawberry... Sweet and sugary, also like a hef, and a bit sour as well though it should not make anybody pucker.

Bottle - pours dark amber with little to no head. Nose of brandy, malt, and plums. Taste is of sweet dark cherries, candy apple, malt, and cane sugar. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From corked bottle. Light clear dark reddish color. Aroma is lollipop, sweet funk, and orange gummi candies. Taste is dank tart sourness, sweet candi sugar, prune, toffee, and a hint of bitterness. Quite sweet, but the dank funky tart character pairs well with that. My first beer of this style, and I really enjoy it.

Bottle. Clear copper with a frothy white head that quickly disappears. Complex aromas of oak barrel apple cider, vinegar, a touch of barnyard and not a hint of the sweetness to come. Immediate citrus tartness, oak influences, grapes and apple juice sweetness which envelopes the beer. Nice carbonation with quite a thick mouthfeel, although it doesn't linger with sweetness, instead finishing reasonably dry. Faro is a bit sweet for me, but an enjoyable and thought provoking beer nonetheless.

12 oz. bottle from Wilbur’s. Appearance: slight white head, amber copper color, clear, light lacing, head does not last. Aroma: grapes, oak, leather, prune, awesome yeastiness. Palate: light body, light carbonation, sticky fruit texture, sticky dry finish. Taste: very pleasant sweet fruit, into a malty, overripe fruit taste that balances the sweetness. very slight bitterness. Overall, very pleasant, maybe a bit too sweet, but pleasant.

37,5 cl. bottle. Dark amber colour, with a medium head and good retention and lace. Smell of grapes, apples, sherry, oak, cider. Medium to light body, sour palate, though you can notice clearly the sugar added. Taste is acid apples, oak, cider. Very pleasant, though I like best the usual gueuze with no sugar.
