It’s made from malt, wheat, hops, water, yeast. Candy sugar is added before the bottling takes place. It is a clear, light red colored faro lambic with a small, creamy head.

Given how high I rated this, I probably shouldn’t think it could be easily confused with a cider. That being said, it’s an enjoyable beer. The burnt copper color was nice. The flavor was a nicely tart apple. The only negative thing that came to mind was it felt like it had a little to much carbonation.

It pours a light amber with a good deal of off white head. It has a sweet and sour smell with a fair amount of yeast present. The sweet sugar taste is bold with a sour tart finish. There are yeast and malts present, but the sweetness of the sugar is dominant.

Aroma is a bit like crap. I can feel sour caramel. Rusty colour. Taste is the better part. It tastes nicely sour with nice caramel taste. Taste doesn’t have much to do with smell. It has a lot foam in the beginning, but it disappears quite fast.

Pours a slightly hazy medium amber with a slight garnet hue. Excellent head, lacing and retention. The nose is a light white wine like sweetness with grape and berry notes. Light medium body with a touch of creamy texture. Normal carbonation with some effervescence in the middle and finish. The World Class flavor profile hits the perfect balance of sweet and sour, excellent intensity and reasonable complexity. It begins with a blend of tart sweet fruit. As the tartness fades, brown candi sugar becomes evident. The middle produces a light sourness that is sour fruit in nature rather than vinegar. The finish is a slow fade of sweet/sour tartness. This one is an excellent choice for lambic introduction.

Reddish gold pour with a thin off white head. Lots of berries on the nose, taste is red berries, a little sourness, a fair bit of sweetness. Not bad at all.

Bottle to glass. Pours a mostly clear amber ruby color with a light tan head. Aroma is mostly sweet berries, very mild tartness. Flavor has a big sweetness, touch of sour berries, but not much. Light to medium in body with a long lingering sweetness. Tasty. Quite sweet.

On tap at Belmont Station. A: Semi-clear brownish red color. Lazy white head. Some lacing. N: Cherry, vinegar, sugar, and honey. Hint of raspberry. Acetic acid and a note of toffee. T:Very, very sweet. Lightly tart. M: Light body, sticky a bit, alcohol is muted, carbonation is moderate. O: big sweet beer, as one would expect. I kind of wonder how it’s different than their regular Lambics, however, particularly the Kriek.

Bottle @ home. Pours with a dark orangr colour, medium sized rocky long lasting white head. Aroma has hints of leather, barnyard and basement aromas, quite strong. Taste is medium to heavy sweet, light to medium sour, absolutely stunning; great! Medium to full body, creamy texture, average carbonation, great mouthfeel. Fantastic brew!

Je ne connais pas trop le style faro...Là, c’est infâme, dégueu, écoeurant, de la bière limonade fruitée immonde. Bu quelques gorgées tant bien que mal, jeté le reste, au 03/02/2014.
