355 ml foiled, capped and corked bottle given to me by wife for Christmas. Served in my Lindemans flute glass. Opens with a pop, pours mostly clear pinkish ruby red with a crackling one inch pink that falls quickly. There is all kinds of visible, spritzy carbonation on the pour - very much a Champagne look. Aroma is the fruit of the raspberry right away - much more sweet than tart, but very fresh and natural nonetheless. As it warms and opens, there is also a nice brief soft vanilla yeastiness present - not much there, but just enough to round the sweet fruit out a bit. Nice, but way to far on the sweet side of the spectrum for my tastes. Taste is the nose, sugar sweet raspberry, transitioning to a very light tartness and then the vanilla and yeast. The sweetness of the taste is a bit brasher and less natural then the nose, but it still transitions and integrates with the mild tartness and yeast characteristics. Palate is light bodied, spritzy carbonation with a clean finish. A very refreshing beer, and easy to drink - though the sweetness eventually overwhelmed me.

Very different beer. I have had it many times but decided this time that I would actually rate it. Pinkish red on the initial pour with little head to speak of. Light bodied. This would be great in the summer time. A beer that is great for someone who wants to get their girlfriend or wife into beer a bit more. Lots of raspberries coming to the front on the nose. I really cannot discern much else here. I taste raspberries and more raspberries along wit strong zesty citrus/sour notes. Definitely very different. I would recommend it, just to taste though because if you are trying to get drunk off of this one you will probably have to get a case of it.

A dark red brew with a strong rasberry aroma. The is very much like a liquid sweet-tart. It is decent alone as a sipping desert or combined with Guinness.

Bottle. Pours a very dark red with a moderately-sized, frothy red head. Aromas of raspberries abound, with hints of banana and citrus. Palate is lively initially and then ends with a slick, crisp finish like a juice. Flavors of raspberry is all that I can get. I guess if you like really fruity beers, this is for you.

Tried this alone first and was almost overwhelmed by the sweetness. A friend suggested that I try to mix it with something so I tried a half bottle of this to a full can of Youngs Double Chocolate Stout and wow... Poured the Stout over a spoon into a half glass of this and it is truely amazing, definitely worth a try...

Dark ruby red pour with a pink head and thick lacing. The nose is primarily raspberry but you can also smell the sour notes as well. Similar taste, big on raspberry and some astringent sour, tart notes at the end. A good lambic but these beers can be too sweet for me.

Aroma is full on raspberry. Very sweet beer with a ruby appearance and slight pink head. I don’t really consider this a true lambic, and is more of a dessert beer due to the heavy sweetness. However I have found that it goes well when mixed 1 part Framboise to 3 parts Rogue Double Chocolate stout.

red body with a strawberry milk head and a sticky network of lacing. sweet with a mild sourness. the raspberry notes effectively squelch most of the other aromas. rather unimodal. subtle doughiness arises towards the end. not too impressed.
