Lindemans Framboise

Red color with a small pink colored head. Smell is fruit, little tartness, fruit juice like, raspberries. Very easy to drink and tastes good. Not really a great lambic. More of a fruit beer.

Deep ruby in color with a pinkish head. Aroma is of raspberries. The taste is of tart red raspberries, like when you pick them fresh when they aren’t quite ripe.

bottle. Steamboat Colorado. this beer is best mixed with a stout. Left Hand Milk Stout is probably the best. It adds a pinch of fruit and complexity to your beer.

To be certain, I am partial to raspberrys. This is so unlike what I expected. I was certain that this was going to be like some american lime beer with a little bit of fruit squeezed in at the end. Nope. Raspberries were everywhere; in the aroma, in the pour, on the tongue. Goodness gracious, it is a good thing I love raspberries. Oh, by the way, some may think of it as a chick drink, but remember, if mama’s happy, you might be too.

Delightful at first, but starts hurting your jaw as a result of the tartness, then you start wondering who spiked your raspberry juice. It is delicious, but juicy juice is cheaper. No head, color of a dark red wine.

Raspberry with thin, pink head / Big, bright fresh raspberry nose / LIght to medium body, sweet with only mild tartness, high carbonation, and good finish / Flavor of fresh raspberries with only mild notes of lambic funk on the finish / As a fruit beer this would rank higher, but as a lambic the lack of complexity is a serious flaw.

Pour is red with a nice red head. Aroma is raspberry. This is a very sweet beer that is chalk full of raspberry. For its style there are not many that are better tasting or easy to drink. I recently had a New Glarus Belgian Red and this beer is preferred.

Bottle. Strong raspberry aroma, also yeast and malt. Body is ruby red, head is pink. Very sweet raspberry soda flavor. Not unpleasant, but no complexity and little appeal.
