| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 28, 2008 Lindeman’s Framboise is a clear, raspberry colored beer with a fluffy pink head and nice lacing. It’s pretty! The fresh raspberry aroma is very strong. It carries. Sniffing a little closer, there is a note of moist wood, like a barrel. It is light bodied, crisp, clean and bubbly. It’s a Champagne-like mouth feel. It is sweet, fruity and sharp, with a note of cork. It is lightly bitter and excellently balanced. This is a full-flavored classic! | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear, dark red with a pink head that fades to a ring. Tart and sweet aroma of raspberry juice. Taste starts sweet then picks up more tartness, of raspberries and sugar. Lingering tartness. Tasty, but not much going on. NachlamSie (1637), Tennessee, USA

On tap. bah. This is pure raspberry Kool-Aid. When I lick my lips after a sip, my teeth hurt as they are assaulted by overwhelming sugary, syrupy, sweetness. When I think Lambic, I think exotic, tart, complex, sour. I do not think tons of sugar and sticky fruit concentrate. I had difficulty finishing my glass. What bothers me more than the ridiculous sweetness is the lack of beer qualties. I’m more angry than nauseated. I don’t know how to score this. Please give me a Cantillon or Boone Lambic. . . .please. . . . jimel001 (34), Los Angeles, California, USA

I thought it was a little too sweet at first but it definitely has grown on me. presario (2956), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
