Bottle, as pictured. Pours a dark, opaque reddish-purple. Minimal head. Smells and tastes strongly of raspberries, as you’d expect. Not as sour as I was expecting....sweet aftertaste after a bit of a tart bite up front. Pretty good overall, I enjoyed it.

My favorite Lambic of all time. Quintessential Framboise taste, very complex, tart, a bit sour and more sweet than most Lambic variates. Some people mix it with a bit of unfiltered wheat beer to tone it down. Serve it with fresh or dried fruit or with a fruity desert.

Pours dark pink with a light pink head. Nice balance of sweet and tart raspberry. Good dessert beer.

From a 375ml bottle on 29/12/2011. Pours a cloudy red with a small pink head. Has a strong aroma of raspberries and red cordial. The flavour is very intense - immense raspberry sweetness, countered by just enough tartness to make it quite enjoyable. I certainly wouldn’t be drinking this by the case, but nice enough as a one off.

Deep red color with a dense pink head that left a lot of lacing. Aroma is raspberry. Taste is raspberry with a really nice balance of sweetness and tartness.

Aroma: Raspberry, straight forward, all the way. Appearance: Dark red with a dark pink head. Taste: Medium sourness cut with a light sweetness. Palate: Medium-full body, thin, slick texture, fizzy carbonation, long raspberry finish. Overall: Nice and sweet. Obviously, the raspberry takes center stage, but the sourness of the lambic is there too. Really well done.
