But I thought it was pretty awful. **WAY** too sweet. Tastes like raspberry syrup with an aftertaste of something remotely resembling belgian ale thrown in. Heavy. And pretty disgusting. Even my girlfriend, who loves the peach and won’t touch other types of beer because they’re too bitter, thought this one was way too sweet and poured it out in the sink. No good! aoa56 (18), zeeland, Michigan, USA

Fruity sweet aroma that is followed by the flavor.
Sweet but a touch of tartness. Not really a Lambic as I know them, but this is very drinkable. Montag (15), , Texas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 13, 2008 Sweet and tart scent, tastes like raspberry a thousand times over. "Overpowering" is the word that comes to mind. The taste is sweet and tart as well, to the point where it’s difficult to do more than take small sips of it. This is a dessert beer if there ever was one, and would need to be served with something to compliment it, as drinking it on its own is a bit much. Mutualaid (136), Texas, USA

Tastes of raspberries, raspberries, and more raspberries. Not as complex or bitter as the kriek but definitely more refreshing. Medium body with a soda mouthfeel. Rather abrupt finish. Would be a decent session beer if not for the price. tomer (380), Rishon Le Zion, Israel

Small dense head with a bubblegum pink colour, strong aroma of fresh and not overly ripe raspberries with faint herbal notes. colour is dark thick red, almost opaque. The flavour starts with strong fresh raspberry sweetness and some bitterness, and than strong tart sourness kicks in and blends with the sweetness leading to a long and wonderfull sweet and sour aftertaste. Yummy stuff. tedovertu (260), Apple Valley, Minnesota, USA

It has an appearance of a pink blush table wine with the head of a beer. Although this is definitely a good candidate for girly beer it does taste amazing. A little sweet for my taste. Too bad it is so expensive. m4rest88 (216), Beverly Hills, California, USA

Doesnt taste like a beer (probably because of its low ABV content) - it tastes more like a rasberry soda. Deep red/ purpeley color, with fizzy carbonation. It has the aroma of tropical fruits and a variety of berries. Wow I love this beer! I could drink a lot of this stuff and I am definitely going to look for it very soon!
