shawnm213 (884), South Bend, Indiana, USA Sep 13, 2009 tap. pours a pinkish red with small head. too sweet and sugary. doubt they even use real raspberries. fata2683 (837), Panama City, Florida, USA Sep 12, 2009 bottle, pours light pink with a thin white head. Lots of raspberry jam in the aroma. Full of raspberry puree and light horseblanket in the finish. Mild and sweet. TreborWhip (68), Reading, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 7, 2009 A wonderfully refreshing lambic. Tasted more like raspberry champagne than beer. No head to speak of but a beautiful reddish-purple body. Served in a Lindeman’s logoed pilsner glass. Hbuck72 (122), Chickasha, Oklahoma, USA Sep 5, 2009 Pourrs a deep ruby read, smells of sweet raspberries. The flavor is nicely balanced between the sweetness/tartness of the raspberries, and the sour flavor of the lambic. really nice combination. jimmiec (38), Louisiana, USA Sep 4, 2009 750 ml bottle (Marcello’s, Lafayette, LA) - Aroma: fruity (raspberries) Appearance: red color, clear, red head; Flavor: mod to high sour or acidic, fruity (raspberry), low sweetness; Mouthfeel: low body, high tart, high carbonation; Overall: fruity, sour low alcohol. arrogantb (695), Denver, Colorado, USA Sep 1, 2009 This was on tap at a local Mexican place (La Cueva) and I thought why not give it a try. It was served in what looked like a Lindeman’s Framboise pokal glass, very nice. Dark, maroon-red color almost purple. Smell was instant raspberries and not much else. The taste was like a syrupy raspberry juice, very good but I didn’t want more than a couple ounces. This was an interesting beer but not something I would revisit.
Serving type: on-tap
