MeaggieLin (4), USA does not count Jun 1, 2008 Although at first this was my favorite beer, I’ve since begun to appreciate slightly less sweet beers. I like to think of Lindeman’s Framboise as a desert beer. I prefer to drink it on its own.
medium sourness, heavy cloying sweetness, kyzr (1119), Belgrade, Montana, USA May 31, 2008 Dark red pour with small pink head. Raspberry is all over the nose. Flavor is big with raspberries, then kind of sours out to a crisp and tangy all. polomagnifico (532), Saginaw, Michigan, USA May 30, 2008 bottle. Aroma has big notes of fresh raspberries. Deep reddish purple and an average pink foamy head that mostly diminished and left good lace. Flavor is big fresh raspberries, and a little spicy yeast but very subtle. Medium body and lively carbonated. Good sweet, crispy, and refreshing brew. The wife really likes this one. blipp (1630), Newark, New Jersey, USA May 29, 2008 Bottle. Pours cranberry red with a pink head. Tastes and smells like raspberry sorbet, although the flavor is a bit more tart. Very drinkable. Butters (1622), Virginia, USA May 28, 2008 Pours a beautiful rich ruby with garnet highlights and a lovely pink head. Tart Raspberry nose and sweet raspberry flavor pervade. Absolutely wonderful for a dinner beer substitute for red wine. Too bad the alcohol content isn’t higher... dalepryor (172), Paducah, Kentucky, USA May 25, 2008 pours raspberry red, with a pretty thick head but not for long. smells like fresh raspberries and and pretty sweet tart smell. The flavor is really sweet and tart with just plain ol raspberry flavor. Very good, one of my favorite lambics so far. Haslinger (640), Syracuse, New York, USA May 25, 2008 Bottle, s\very sweet nose, awesome raspberry taste, very good beer for just sipping on. Almost syrupy mouthfeel though, I didn’t like that pumpmaster (473), Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA May 24, 2008 12 ounce bottle purchased at ABC Liquors in Pembroke Pines, FL for $6.39 Very good. Very sweet, more like a cider.
