At times it’s so sweet it becomes difficult to drink and yet I always seem to finish the bottle. :)
I’m not sure this counts as beer so much as a wonderful raspberry beverage. RomanW70 (297), Providence, Rhode Island, USA

Strong Tart Rasberry aroma. Taste is a decent mix of sweet and tart. No detectable hops. A delicious dessert beer, but definitely not an everyday beer. Pours a lovely deep red with a small creamy pink head. Powerful deep aroma of raspberries, rather sweet - but very ’fruity’ - not artificial. Kinda lively mouthfeel. Flavour is sweetish with a light tartness to it. Like the aroma, it feels very fresh-fruit-ish. It is okay, but is seriously sweet for a lambic. kidmartinek (975), austin, Texas, USA

Smells like red wine, taste like raspberry fruit drink with sprite. It tastes good but didn’t strike me a being a beer. lampeno420 (321), Zeeland, Michigan, USA

The flavor was almost a raspberry sherbet, very sweet and tart. Maybe i just dont know lambic’s very well, but it could have used some alcohol content to thicken it up a bit. Still very nice and refreshing. MadIndian (992), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 7, 2008 Bottle from Canals. Red pour with thin head. Fruity rasberry tarty aroma. Flavor was cherry and not as tart as I thought it would be. A little too sweet for me but not that bad. JoeinUccle (902), Brussels, Belgium

Pre-cake, this dark ruby beer with pink head comes across as slightly too sweet despite a nice, full berry flavor and nose. Soda-pop-like bubbling. After a bite of the sweeter cake, the beer becomes a bit more moderate. Maybe a more bitter, dark chocolate cake for this next time. But I can’t see drinking this beer on its own... my tastes don’t run quite this sweet. Update: Pairing this with some homemade cheesecake brought out the best fruity tartness in this beer.
