Cruzan59 (197), Lititz, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 5, 2008 (I mistakenly rated this on 11/18 under the Cassis Lambic...I sampled again last night, same location...my correction here) Flute at Annie Bailey’s Irish Pub, Lancaster, PA...my wife actually ordered this (Raspberry!? OK!) and I took a few sips having not sampled a lambic before...wow raspberry...dark ruby red...aromatic...sweet like drinking melted sherbet with some carbonation...not sure how much of this I could drink but it’s tasty to say the least...in a dessert sort of way. Tranquillity (1165), Espoo, Finland Jan 2, 2008 Bottled. Excellent. From dark wine-red to almost pink, small pink head. Arom aof fresh raspberries. Taste raspberry puree. Extreme. lovemyipas (420), sw burbs, Illinois, USA Jan 2, 2008 Updated: Feb 20, 2008pours a cloudy ruby red with a one finger stiff fluffy purple head. aroma is strong sweet raspberries. has a light to medium body with good lacing and carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma but stronger. has a very strong raspberry aftertaste that lingers for a while. also has a little tart dry aftertaste as well. this is very good and a little better than i expected. rerate from a keg it is stronger all around. SamGamgee (1396), Santa Cruz (La Selva), California, USA Jan 1, 2008 75cl bottle from Trader Joes. Red with a big pink head; looks classy in a flute. Aroma is in your face raspberries with a nice tartness. The flavor is tons of sweet raspberry with a refreshing tartness that cleans up the finish enough to keep it from being cloying. It all feels a little forced and artificial like fruit juice with some alcohol, but it works all the same. Cracked this on the new year, and it was a hit with everyone who tried it; I’m thinking that it gives champagne a run for its money. Angeloregon (2024), Portland, Oregon, USA Jan 1, 2008 Glass from draft at Horse Brass in PDX, OR--Great red body with pink tints. Bubbly with no head whatsoever. Sweet all the way with mild tart sourness and dry fruitiness. Exceptionally delectable! BrewDad (2363), Olympia, Washington, USA Jan 1, 2008 750ml Bomber - Gravity Room - Olympia, WA

IndySteve (9), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA does not count Jan 1, 2008 Deep red. Pours with a small fizzy head. Looks, smells and tastes like raspberry syrup. smell is very strong though the taste is not quite as overtly sweet as expected. A good, cheap lambic. Fun stuff. Arayaga2 (932), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 31, 2007 Definitely red with pink foamy head. Aroma is deliciously raspberry, like some handcrafted soda with odd funky tart notes. Taste is same, but perhaps a bit cloying, not unlike sweet-tarts. My only complaint is that in their effort to make a fruity beer, they have forgotten to put enough beer into the product.
