Glass from draft at Horse Brass in PDX, OR--Great red body with pink tints. Bubbly with no head whatsoever. Sweet all the way with mild tart sourness and dry fruitiness. Exceptionally delectable!

Deep red. Pours with a small fizzy head. Looks, smells and tastes like raspberry syrup. smell is very strong though the taste is not quite as overtly sweet as expected. A good, cheap lambic. Fun stuff.

Definitely red with pink foamy head. Aroma is deliciously raspberry, like some handcrafted soda with odd funky tart notes. Taste is same, but perhaps a bit cloying, not unlike sweet-tarts. My only complaint is that in their effort to make a fruity beer, they have forgotten to put enough beer into the product.

floral, citrus, red, cloudy, frothy, heavy cloying sweetness, light body, sticky, lively, like a fruit juice really.

My first Lambic. Nifty 12 oz. bottle, capped and corked (neato!). Pours clear rosy red with champagne-like pink head. Huge nose of sweet raspberries with a touch of tartness. Raspberry and cherry flavors at the beginning. The whole taste is definitely different. Sweet and tart battle to command your taste buds. The sweet seems forced, like it was added to mask the true flavor of the drink. Highly acidic. Tartness wins out in the ending, proving that "evil always wins because good is dumb." Finish is tart, bordering on a true sour flavor that lingers heavily at the back of your throat. Very dry. Mouthfeel is thin, but viscous (huh?), keeping a nice silky texture as you swallow. Big carb. Seeing how I have no basis for comparison, this is pretty good. Definitely an interesting flavor, and a style that I plan on exploring further.

Nice aroma of cherries and super tart sugars. The taste is very acidic, and where there should probably be a maltyness to cut through it, there are only sugars to cut the high acidity which seemed to me very cloying. This a nice entry to Lambics, because some of the higher rated Cantillons and 3 Fonteinens will kick yer butt if you’re not ready for them. But with 2.5% abv, how complex can you expect this to really be?
