Dec 23, 2007 The smell of raspberries overwhelms you when you open this beer. Much different than what I usually drink. Good, but tasted more like sparkling cider.

Dec 23, 2007 Another lambic, another departure from typical beer, but the stuff is good! Obvious flavors of rasberry and a smooth finish.

Dec 23, 2007 Had on tap at the Winking Lizard. Served in a flute. Poured a very pretty light red with a pink foamy head. Smell was all raspberries. Taste was carbonated raspberries with just a slightly tart finish.

Dec 21, 2007 I had to remind myself that this is beer, and I love beer...This was very good and a very big suprise for me....I have been dwelling for months if I wanted to buy a lambic. Im glad I did. Pours a non translucent cloudy like redish purple, pinkish head that didn’t last very long. Great taste of maltish raspberry and terrific aroma. I could drink this everyonce in a while and it was a nice expieriance. I guess if it took me 2 years to create a beer, I would charge $6.00 a bottle to..

Dec 20, 2007 Pours a very deep red with a small pinkish head. The aroma is sour raspberries and it has pretty much the same taste. There is a nice sweetness that balances the sour nicely. Not something I’d want to drink every day, but it is pretty tasty and my wife is happy when I bring it home.

Dec 19, 2007 Purple color with a nice purple head that fades quickly. Raspberry head with a raspberry flavor, sweet and sour mixed together. I like this much better than I thought I would.

Ok, it looks artificial and far removed from beery but the colour geek in me loves it. Candy apple red topped with bright baby pink foam. Glorious. Sadly the rest of it is equally artificial and ridiculously sweet. Seedy raspberry jam aroma. Slight lambic funk in the mouth but totally dominated by fruit syrup. In all honsty, take the thick sweetness away and it could be ok. Sadly, it’s more akin to an additive filled kids drink.

Dec 17, 2007 Draught. Poured dark red with a pink head. Smells of musty raspberries. Flavor is much the same raspberry fruitiness with an enjoyable strong tartness that takes over the palate after an initial sweetness. An enjoyable beer beer for desert.
