37steel (186), St. Charles, Illinois, USA Oct 9, 2007 750ml bottle. Hazy red with a pink head. Lots of carbonation. Aroma is strong raspberries. Tastes very, very sweet. Nice dry finish. Drinkable. Acknud (770), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA Oct 5, 2007 Weird taste sensation. Aroma of raspberries. Taste is almost to sweet and cloying on the tongue but manageable. bhensonb (4187), Woodland, California, USA Oct 4, 2007 12 oz. bottle. The aroma is raspberry, including seeds. Color is a hazy, very reddish, thing. The pink head went rapidly. A bit thin in body, with quite mild carbonation. The flavor is raspberry, including the impact one gets from crunching seeds. It’s fairly sweet, but the raspberry seed bitter is there, and the finish is not undry. That raspberry aspect carries into the finish, and the seed aspect is lightly bitter. Very good. golubj (1275), Sunnyvale, California, USA Oct 1, 2007 Draft. The aroma is like the raspberry filling of a chocolate candy. The flavor is the same, and to me, it doesn’t even resemble beer. However, it is difficult to argue that this drink (whether it be beer or not) is not delicious. BelgianBeerGal (1276), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Oct 1, 2007 Flute poured from 75cl bottle. Pours a really pretty red colour with a pink-tinted head. Nice carbonation. Good flavour but a little too sweet for my tastes. great dessert beer, especially with a semi-sweet/dark chocolate. pinkzambia (986), Boise, Idaho, USA Sep 28, 2007 Tap at Slow’s in Motown: Raspbery color with a mauve head. Tastes like sweet raspberry jam or syrup. One person I was with who doesn’t like beer gulped it down like Kool-Aid. dankman38 (228), Somewhere in, Ohio, USA Sep 27, 2007 This is what my kids are looking for in a soda pop; sweet, tart and, easy to drink. I suggest cooling it to the point of freezing and pouring it over ice cream. Not bad if you like swwet stuff. tmartin2031 (3), Boiling Springs, South Carolina, USA does not count Sep 27, 2007 I first had this lambic years ago, and it is still one of my favorites. Though hard to find in bars or restaurants, it is worth trying if you are a fan of raspberries.
