On tap and in bottle. Poured a cloudy red/purple color with a two finger reddish head. Aroma of...you guessed it...raspberries. Flavor is sparkling raspberry. I have to admit that I enjoyed this.

pours a raspberry red with a thick pink head that quickly dissolves into nothing, with little lacing. 99% raspberry on the nose, with the tiniest hint of vinegar in the back. Flavor is raspberry soda with a bit of tartness. And that’s it. Bubbly, crisp, and refreshing for sure, but really one-dimentional. Might be a decent introduction into the lambic world, but it pales in comparison to other fruit lambics. A nice summer sipper, but that’s about it.

Reddish brown brew, nice lacing, pink hues. Raspberry wheat aroma. Grainy raspberry flavor, like oats.

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2008 Tart, sweet raspberry. The dark red color and bold flavor tell you this is no ordinary flavored malt beverage. This is my first lambic, so I don’t have a reference to judge it by. I enjoyed it, but though it is a beer, its flavor and aroma are dominated by the fruit.

Small pink head. Way to sweet and syrupy. But behind the sweetness there is a real good raspberrie flavour noticeable. This could be a real good beer, if only it wasn’t this sweet. (Bottle 25cl)

May have recently changed labels. Beautiful ruby red body with medium sized pinkish head. Excellent smell of sweet raspberries, as you’d expect. The taste doesnt let down either, tart rasperry, the sweet and the sour balanced perfectly. Lively, a dry finish on the palate. It is what it is - and its great.

Pours a dark burgandy color with a thick pink head. Very strong raspberry aroma with a hint of mouthwatering vinegar. Sweet raspberry flavor with a little sour kick. Rather bubbly and smooth. Easy to drink.

375ml bottle BB 21 Jan 2010. Was a bit suprised when I cracked open the crown seal to hear no pop...it didn’t occur to me that the beer ALSO had a cork, and I had to track down my ever allusive cork screw... Presented with a lovely deep, murky purple body with a rocky, creamy, dense pink head that creates a landscape of lace on the glass on the way down. Aroma is raspberry jam, straightup. Some vinous stewed fruits and natural yoghurt-like sharpness come through with a good swirl. Carbonation is lively without being overdone, body is thick near-syrup, suprisingly good length for a beer of the strength. Restrained sharpness, balanced with sweetness. I’m reminded bit of a raspberry yoghurt I have at work; lactic sharpness, creamy sweetness, tart raspberry. Finish is quite vinous with a bit of tannin and lingering stew fruit, slightly sharp but not dry. Excellent raspberry flavour, balance is more on the sweet side, but its certainly not cloying, and has an overall lightness that makes it quite enjoyable and drinkable.
