Flavor is quite the same..raspberries (tart and sweet),followed by some yeast. Its almost like a tart fruit cider. Color is very deep ruby red with a bubbly, frothy red head. This was my first lambic...not bad considering I have nothing to compare it to. Bonster (81), Jersey Shore, New Jersey, USA Aug 9, 2009 Aroma and flavor is intense raspberry. Very sweet and fruity. I liked it at first but it is too sweet for my taste. DerHopKopf (2), Texas, USA does not count Aug 8, 2009 Bottle purchased locally, Pours with a red/purple color with a small diminishing head. Aroma is an overpowering sweet raspberry with little else coming through. Taste is a sour sweet with fruity flavor. Finish is crisp and sour. Overall a little too sweet for my tastes. awiseman01 (318), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA Aug 7, 2009 Sample from bottle, thanks Jen. Elegant red, sitting in snifter. Tons of fresh, juicy raspberry on the nose. Taste is the same, with an instant pucker affect on the tongue. Good amount of carbonation and not lacking in fruit by any means. Always a winner with the ladies.
