SierraPaleAle (22), California, USA Sep 26, 2007 From 750 ml bottle into wine glass. Beautiful red color with a reddish head. Aroma of rasberries--no surprise there, but mentionable because of the intensity. The overwhelming taste was rasberry. I love this beer, or Lambic, as it is called. I think I could detect some wheaty flavors, but like I said the rasberries are agressive. This is a beautiful drink to put in a glass, just awesome. drfabulous (1212), Columbia, Missouri, USA Sep 25, 2007 I remember when CBD first introduced me to this beer over a lovely meal. I wasn’t yet aware of fruit lambics. It’s a really nice beer to have with dessert. But otherwise, I don’t reach for it. Silphium (2114), Haslett, Michigan, USA Sep 20, 2007 Fiery red body, thick pink head of medium density. Strong funky/barnyard aroma, dusty, with sharp, somewhat sweet raspberry notes. The flavor comes as close to "cobwebby" as any beer I can remember, with dry, dusty yeast and oak burying the thin sourness which tingles the tongue but lacks the usual puckering lambic strength. The sweet raspberries lurk beneath the funk and enhance, rather than dominate, the beer. Nice. kempicus (350), Wellington, New Zealand Sep 17, 2007 Massive sweet raspberry aroma, very sweet raspberry flavour, not sure if i could call this beer, itjust seems like fizzy rasperry cordial to me... tronraner (1905), Maryville, Tennessee, USA Sep 16, 2007 Bottle. Pours hazy dark red with small pin-tan head that goes away quickly. The aroma is sweet raspberries and not much else. The flavor has a little bit of tartness at first, then again with tons of sweet raspberry taste. I pick up some wheaty graininess once in a while. While much better than the other Lindemans fruit "lambics," this is still too much like flavored soda to me. jake65 (1657), Williston, North Dakota, USA Sep 16, 2007 Bottle: Pours a deep ruby red color with no head or lacing. Nose is sweet with raspberries and honey. Tastes rich with raspberry sweet and tart with a little of that malt beverage base. Very enjoyable when dreaming of something sweet and fruity. f351c4v (404), Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 16, 2007 Pours a clear red color with a great deal of carbonation. Fluffy pink head. Big raspberry aroma, semi-sour raspberry taste. Could be a little less sweet... not bad. alobar (1006), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 15, 2007 Can’t believe that I’ve never rated this. Pours a deep purple with reddish hues and a pinkish-red head. Decent lacing. Powerful;e sweet raspberry aroma. Memorable flavor-raspberries. Tapered by the carbonation. Very nice beer!
