Homebrewerguy (284), Oil City, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 10, 2007 Another fine taste sensation from Lindemans, sweet, fruity and delicious. Some people don’t like a sweet lambic, but I think it balances the tartness just right. Whelk (124), Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England Sep 6, 2007 750mL bottle. Pours a murky raspberry with a fine pink head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is strong tart raspberries with a hint of yeast. Flavor is sweet and tart raspberries with a little funky yeast. Thick mouthfeel. Sweet with just enough tartness to cut the beer. AndyMagnum (8), USA does not count Sep 4, 2007 Dark raspberry color, medium pinky head. Fairly carbonated. Crisp with lingering aftertaste. Semi-complex but mostly tart rasberry flavor. Refreshing. obguthr (986), Poquoson, Virginia, USA Sep 2, 2007 Opaque red color, good mouthfeel. Nice balance of sweet and tart raspberries. Nohing too special though. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 05/05/1996

Cloudy dark red, whispy almost nonexistant head, strong raspberry aroma, high cabonation, tart raspberry flavor with a lingering strong and sweet raspberry aftertaste. Much like a fruit wine or champange.

boboski (1095), Alabama, USA Aug 29, 2007 Dark red pour with purple and near black hues, with a brown perimeter and a small light pink head that fades quickly. Seriously dark and appetizing appearance. Raspberry puree confronts the senses in the aroma, like a wall of unstoppable super-fruit. The nose is very sweet and is supplemented by light notes of wild yeast, cereal grain in extreme moderation, sugars and soft medicinal notes(not bothersome). The flavor is very sweet and at points cloying. Raspberry seems somewhat legitimate, sugars propel the reality that is isn’t all real. Acidity is mild to medium, tartness moderate and ever-growing. Finishes sweet and very tart but not really sour. the body is medium and syrupy, well-carbonated and jammy. A good daytime quencher with a sub-airy quality that pokes out to let you know that this isn’t a complete syrupy mess. Drink4Satan (585), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA Aug 26, 2007 Poured into my Lindemans lambic glass. Poured a deep magenta with a pink, persistent head that leaves good lacing. Not much complexity in the taste or the aroma, but it is undeniably flavourful and strong scented. RASPBERRIES, wahoo. Sweet and tart, full-bodied and never cloying. It’s sweetness cuts most of the acidity. BeerBiker (1384), Odense, Denmark Aug 26, 2007 [Sampled with Henrik at Jyske Øldage, 2004 in Kolding.] At the finish we attacked the Lindemans section to catch some fruitbeer after a lot of strong belgians. The all were very good and we defenately agreed that it couldn’t be better. Now three years later, we go for the sips.
