Cloudy dark red, whispy almost nonexistant head, strong raspberry aroma, high cabonation, tart raspberry flavor with a lingering strong and sweet raspberry aftertaste. Much like a fruit wine or champange.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 29, 2007 Dark red pour with purple and near black hues, with a brown perimeter and a small light pink head that fades quickly. Seriously dark and appetizing appearance. Raspberry puree confronts the senses in the aroma, like a wall of unstoppable super-fruit. The nose is very sweet and is supplemented by light notes of wild yeast, cereal grain in extreme moderation, sugars and soft medicinal notes(not bothersome). The flavor is very sweet and at points cloying. Raspberry seems somewhat legitimate, sugars propel the reality that is isn’t all real. Acidity is mild to medium, tartness moderate and ever-growing. Finishes sweet and very tart but not really sour. the body is medium and syrupy, well-carbonated and jammy. A good daytime quencher with a sub-airy quality that pokes out to let you know that this isn’t a complete syrupy mess. Drink4Satan (585), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA

Poured a deep magenta with a pink, persistent head that leaves good lacing. Not much complexity in the taste or the aroma, but it is undeniably flavourful and strong scented. RASPBERRIES, wahoo. Sweet and tart, full-bodied and never cloying. It’s sweetness cuts most of the acidity. BeerBiker (1392), Kathmandu, Nepal

The all were very good and we defenately agreed that it couldn’t be better. Now three years later, we go for the sips. Cybercat (786), Georgia, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 25, 2007 A beautiful reddish brown with a nice, thick, persistent head. Aroma is strongly fruity, mainly raspberry, with some spicy hints. Raspberry dominates the sweet malty flavor. Drinking this beer is almost like drinking raspberry-flavored pop, so it could be insidious! michael-pollack (2650), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma is very rasberry with cranberry overlay. Candy Like aroma. Initial taste is fresh raspberries with tartness in the finish. Some head retention with lasting palate. My first Lambic .. Very tasty... Beershine (2686), Hue, Vietnam
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 22, 2007 Had well-chilled at The Abbey in Miami. A gorgeous color sold me right away. Thick, like a glass of crushed berries. Pronounced fruitiness never dies but sustains itself. Exceptionally flavorful but not complex. Not a beer for serious lambic lovers, as it is quite sweet. It’s not too sweet like its Belle Vue counterpart though! Lindeman’s framboise is straightforward and fun beer and an excellent introduction to the style!
