Bottle. Pours a dark red purple with a pink head and nice lacing. Aroma is raspberries plain and simple. The taste is much of the same, tart and tangy at first and then nice and sweet in the end. I really like Framboise its a good beer for anytime of the year.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 16/20 StFun (565) - Indiana, USA - JAN 29, 2008
Greatly overpaid for this one ($10 for a glass), and now I see it in stores everywhere. Oh well. Really great aroma, bursting with fruit (bet you couldn’t have guessed that!!). Slightly tart in both aroma and flavor. Taste had a nice balance going with tart and sweet though. Really really delicious. Left a sticky coating in my mouth though, which is the biggest thing I dont like about fruit beers and their like.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 highibus (633) - Vail, Arizona, USA - JAN 29, 2008
Pours a bright red color with pink head. Aroma of sweet and sour fruit. Very appealing. Taste is sweet and sour at the same time. Dances nicely on the tongue with the fruit, the sour and the carbonation.
Medium to light body but again great mouthfeel. I enjoyed it.
3.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 CP (124) - USA - JAN 28, 2008
UPDATED: FEB 19, 2008 Dark red pour. A great change up from a typical beer. Low ABV, but a great "beer" to start a drinking session with. Pretty much just a straight raspberry taste.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Felsenbrau (19) - Middletown, Ohio, USA - JAN 27, 2008
Pours a cloudy dark purple with pink head, some lacing. Lovely sweet raspberry aroma. Medium to heavy body, very seet raspberry flavor, esy to drink. Finish is allspice, apricot, other fruits. Not much alcohol. One of my favorites
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 vyvvy (2922) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - JAN 23, 2008
Pours purple with a beautiful sudsy pink / purple head. The aroma is all raspberries and is semi-sweet and lush with a touch of graininess. Medium rich body with gentle and comforting soft carbonation. The flavor starts with lots of sweet raspberries ~ actually a bit too sweet for my tastes. The taste is also rich and lush and finishes with some spiciness. This is a very good fruit beer, but I have problems look at this as a lambic.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 clong83 (281) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 22, 2008
Pours a deep ruby red. Aroma is of rasberries. Head is a pink color, and dissipates to a thin layer quickly, but leaves a lacing. Thin head remains throughout. Body is heavy and syrupy. Flavor is hugely of rasberries, very tart, and VERY sweet. Lively carbonation, like with a sparkling wine. It was okay, certainly not bad. I’d go for it more if it weren’t so ridiculously sweet. I felt like I needed to brush my teeth afterwards.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 popdoggy (100) - USA - JAN 18, 2008
pinkish tint to the head. nice rasperry aroma. alcohol content is super low. served in a flute. not much else to say. would be more interesting if there was sour tones in it.
3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 ZiggyG (131) - Gladstone, Oregon, USA - JAN 12, 2008
750 mL. Pours cherry red, soft strawberry where the light comes through. Short fizzy pink head. Lacing remains stuck all around the edges of the glass and in rings in the center throughout the drink. Smell is all fruity raspberry and strawberry, very sweet. Taste is raspberries all over the front of the palate with a sharp hit of acid mid palate and a bit of malty smoothness at the back. The acid is a little too high, I can feel it all the way down my throat to my stomach. This beer has enough tartness to pucker your lips. It has a surprisingly heavy feel on the palate with champagne like lively carbonation dancing in the mouth. The fruit flavors are nice, but they are seriously lacking in complexity. This is a nice novelty but not something I would like to drink often. Doesn’t compare to champagne of the same price.
